Abstract
Weaving loom in which the warp yarns are divided into an upper and a lower shed for the shuttle movement. An upper shuttle and a lower shuttle are launched simulataneously, each from an opposite side of he loom, for passing into the upper and lower sheds respectively. The weft yarn is fed to each gripper shuttle by a presenter provided at each side of the loom; it can be moved upwards to feed the upper shuttle and downwards to feed the lower shuttle. The number of weft bobbins and presenters required for a loom using two gripper shuttles is reduced.
