De uitvinding heeft betrekking op een in hoofdzaak recht- hoekige tweedelige houder, in het bijzonder voor gebak en dergelijke. 



   Gebak en dergelijke wordt tegenwoordig vrijwel niet meer in banketbakkerijen vervaardigd doch, in grote hoeveelheden, in speciale daarvoor ingerichte fabrieken. Daarbij treedt het probleem op dat dit gebak van de fabriek naar de banketbakker moet worden overgebracht. 



   Gewoonlijk gebruikt men hiervoor plastic kratten van een be- paalde diepte waarin een aantal kartonnen dozen op elkaar wordt ge- stapeld. Deze uit een plano   opzetbare   dozen hebben evenwel het bezwaar   dat zij niet zeer sterk zijn ; deverpakking wordt als eenmalige ver-   pakking beschouwd en moet dus goedkoop zijn. Door de geringe sterkte van de dozen wordt het gebak dikwijls beschadigd; bovendien worden deze dozen dikwijls beschadigd wanneer het gebak in de banketbakkerij voor enige tijd in de koelcel wordt opgeslagen. Het opzetten van de dozen vergt   betrekkelijk   veel tijd en is moeilijk te mechaniseren. 



   De uitvinding beoogt een eenmalig te gebruiken, zeer goedkoop te vervaardigen, en toch relatief sterke tweedelige   verpakkingsdoos   voor gebak e.d. te verschaffen. Dit oogmerk wordt volgens de uitvin- ding bereikt doordat de beide uit dunne kunststof vervaardigde delen in hoofdzaak onderling gelijk zijn en elk bestaan uit een bodem en enigs- zins naar buiten divergerende, opstaande wanden die overgaan in een omgezette bovenrand, waarbij regelmatig langs de bovenranden der wanden verdeeld een aantal op afstand van elkaar gelegen, buiten deze rand naar boven uitstekende uitsteeksels zijn gevormd en wel zodanig dat telkens van twee tegenover elkaar gelegen wanden de uitsteeksels over de tussengelegen afstand versprongen ten opzichte van elkaar zijn aangebracht. 



   Doordat de delen, waaruit de doos is opgebouwd volkomen iden-   -kiek   zijn, kunnen deze zonder veel ruimte in te nemen in grote aan- tallen in elkaar genest in voorraad worden   gehouden..

   Voor het gebruik wordt éém deel met het gebak gevuld; een tweede   gelijk   deel wordt dan ondersteboven op het eerste deel ge- zet waarbij de delen met de randen op   ,elkaar   rusten. Doordat de uitsteeksels   versprongen   ten opzichte van   elkaar   zijn aangebracht grijpen steeds de uitsteeksels van het ene deel in de tussen de uitsteeksels van het andere deel   aanwezige     -uitsparingen;   de beide delen zijn dus tegen verschuiving in alle richtingne ten opzichte van elkaar   vergrendeld   en er ontstaat een stevig en gemakkelijk te hanteren geheel. De delen kunnen in grote aantallen door diep-   trekken   uit   kanststoffolie   worden vervaardigd en zijn dus niet   duur.   



   Bij voorkeur worden de uitsteeksels gevormd door voort- zettingen van het omgezette randdeel en omvatten een omhoog ver- lopend deel dat zich voortzet in een schuin naar buiten en omlaag gericht, buiten de   binnenrand   van het omgezette randdeel gelegen deel. Door de op deze wijze ontstane profilering van de randen wordt de stevigheid van het geheel, in het bijzonder tegen ver- wringing, vergroot,   Aan   de hand van de bijgevoegde figuren en de hierna vol- gende   beschrijving   zal de uitvinding nader worden toegelicht.

   Zoals fig. 1 toont is de doos 1 opgebouwd uit twee omge- keerd op elkaar gestapelde gelijke delen 2, 3. Elk deel bestaat uit een bodem 4, opstaande   lansswanden 5   en opstaande   dwarswanden   De wanden zijn, ter vergroting van de   sterkte,     -voorzien   van

 profileringen 7. De korte wanden 6 zijn ter plaatse 8 enigszins naar binnen doorgezet om de   mogelijkheid   te   verkrijgen   op elkaar gestapel- de   nauw   in een krat passende dozen een voor een gemakkelijk te kunnen   uitnemen.   



   De opstannde wanden lopen uit in een rondes verlopende rand 9 die zich voortzet in een onlaag   gericht     Gedeelte   10. Er is 'echter een   aantal   opstaande   uitsteeksels   11 gevormd doordat de rand   daar   ter plaatse niet direkt   overgaat   in het   omlaag   gerichte   gedeelte   10, doch in een   omhoog   verlopend   stuk   12, dat   zich     voortzet   in een naar beneden gericht   gedeelte   13. The invention relates to a substantially rectangular two-part container, in particular for cakes and the like.



   Pastry and the like are nowadays practically no longer manufactured in confectioneries but, in large quantities, in specially equipped factories. In addition, the problem arises that this pastry has to be transferred from the factory to the confectioner.



   Usually plastic crates of a certain depth are used for this purpose, in which a number of cardboard boxes are stacked on top of each other. However, these boxes, which can be erected from a blank, have the drawback that they are not very strong; the packaging is considered as one-way packaging and must therefore be cheap. Due to the low strength of the boxes, the pastry is often damaged; moreover, these boxes are often damaged when the pastry is stored in the cold store for some time in the confectionery. Setting up the boxes is relatively time-consuming and difficult to mechanize.



   The object of the invention is to provide a single use, very cheap to manufacture, and yet to provide relatively strong two-part packaging box for pastry and the like. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the two parts made of thin plastic are substantially equal to each other and each consist of a bottom and slightly outwardly diverging upright walls which merge into a bent top edge, with regular along the top edges. A number of protrusions which are spaced apart from each other and protrude upwards beyond this edge are distributed in such a way that the protrusions of two opposite walls are arranged staggered with respect to each other over the intermediate distance.



   Because the parts from which the box is constructed are completely identical, they can be kept nested in large numbers in stock in large numbers without taking up much space.

   Before use, one part is filled with the pastry; a second equal part is then placed upside down on the first part with the parts resting side-by-side. Since the protrusions are arranged staggered relative to each other, the protrusions of one part always engage in the recesses present between the protrusions of the other part; the two parts are thus locked against displacement in all directions relative to each other and a sturdy and easy-to-handle unit is created. The parts can be produced in large numbers by deep drawing from plastic film and are thus inexpensive.



   Preferably, the protrusions are formed by extensions of the folded edge portion and comprise an upwardly extending portion that continues in an oblique outward and downwardly directed portion located outside the inner edge of the folded edge portion. The profiling of the edges created in this way increases the rigidity of the whole, in particular against twisting. The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the appended figures and the following description.

Claims

REQUIREMENTS A substantially rectangular two-part container, in particular for pastries and the like, characterized in that the two parts made of thin plastic are substantially identical to each other and each consist of a bottom and slightly outwardly diverging upright walls which merge into a bent top edge, wherein a number of spaced apart protrusions projecting upwards outside this edge are formed regularly distributed along the top edges of the walls, in such a way that each time of two opposite walls the protrusions are staggered by the intermediate distance relative to each other.

2. A container according to claim 1, characterized in that the protrusions are formed by continuations of the unoccupied edge portion and comprise an upwardly extending portion extending obliquely outwardly and downwardly beyond the outer edge of the flanged edge portion.
