Ce composé peut donc être utilisé pour combattre de manière séloctive les chardons dans toute culture, sans effet nuisible sur cette culture. Parmi les cultures qu'on 'peut traiter, il convient de citer les cultures de céréales, de fruits charnus comme les fraises et les framboises, de légumes,comme les choux et les choux-fleurs, de racines et tubercules,comme les carottes st les pommes de terre, de fleurs, outre les herbages et pelouses, entre autres.
