"Composition based on parotid extract with anti-tryptic action, usable in particular as a healing agent"
A subject of the present invention is a therapeutic composition possessing inhibitory properties with respect to trypsin, which can be used in particular as an oicatriser and cellular reconstitute.
This composition is characterized in that it contains, as active principle, an extract of mammalian parotid, consisting of a mixture of polypeptides soluble in water in an acidic or neutral medium, which can be precipitated by acetone and with an average molecular weight of less than 10,000.
The polypeptides constituting the extract are identifiable by their hydrolysis into amino acids in a very acidic medium, by the various general reactions of the polypep-

In addition to the phyuioo-ahinic characteristics stated above, the process for preparing the parotid extract makes it possible to characterize the latter,
This process consists of the extraction of a de-dried and defatted parotid pulp by an acidic aqueous medium of pH less than 3 containing, a concentration of ethyl alcohol, or other precipitating agent of proteins.

This concentrated solution is treated with ether or other non-polar solvent so as to remove the lipids
