Ces dispositifs d'étendage, désignés ci-après par séchoirs, présentent des tringles d'étendage fixées à des supports' selon des espacements bien définis. Par suite, leur utilisation manque de souplesse, l'espacement adopté entre deux tringles quelconques convenant difficilement à la mise en place et au séchage d'articles encombrants alors qu'il se trouve surabondant pour d'autres articles.
De plus, et en particulier dans le cas mentionné des séchoirs de fenêtre, les tringles les plus éloignées sont difficilement accessibles et la pose du linge sur ces tringles est, de ce fait, très délioate.
En outre, l'utilisation de ces séchoirs n'étant pas permanente, il a été considéré comme avantageux de les faire extensibles et repliables, afin d'une part, d'adapter la surface d'étendage au volume de la lessive à sécher, et d'autre part, de pouvoir, après utilisation, les ranger selon un encombrement minimal. Malheureusement, les séchoirs de ce type sont bien souvent instables et peu commodes.
La présente invention a notamment pour objet un dispositif d'étendage, et en particulier un porte-serviettes éliminant ces inconvénients.
Selon l'invention, un dispositif d'étendage, et en particulier un porte-serviettes, est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte des tringles mobiles dans le sens desdits supports. Cette disposition permet, d'une part, d'adapter entre deux tringles quelconques l'écartement convenable pour

la mise en place et le séchage d'un article déterminé, et d'autre part, de poser commodément du linge sur une tringle amenée au plus près de soi, puis depousser cette tringle en avant jusqu'à l'endroit utile.
En outre, cet agencement autorise la réalisation de structures repliables extrêmement robustes et faciles à mettre en oeuvre.
Selon une forme de réalisation répondant aux conditions d'utilisation d'un séchoir de fenêtre, les sup- ports sont des tiges coudées en forme de potence et montées pivotantes sur un bâti muni de moyens d'accrochage, tels que crochets repliables.
Selon une autre forme de réalisation répondant aux conditions d'utilisation du séchoir sur pieds, les sup- ports sont constitués par des arceaux montés pivotants sur un bâti.
La présente invention a encore pour objet un dis- positif d'étendage, et en particulier un porte-serviettes, caractérisé en ce qu'il est recouvert d'une housse amovible en coopération avec un organe de ventilation, de préférenoe à air chaud. Selon une forme particulièrement simple de réalisation, cet organe de ventilation est un sèche-cheveux dont l'embout s'introduit dans un orifice de la housse prévu à cet effet. Un tel agencement permet d'aotiver oonsidéra- blement le séchage du linge étendu.
La présente invention a encore pour objet un dispositif d'étendage et en particulier un porte-serviettes comportant au moins un moen d'étendage auxiliaire formé par un.axe sur lequel sont montées des tringles pivotantes

et coulissantes, en coopération avec une barre de butée 'amovible. Cette disposition permet d'augmenter à volonté la surface totale d'étendage.
Les objets, caractéristiques et avantages de l'in- vention ressortiront d'ailleurs de la description qui va suivre de formes de réalisation données seulement à titre d'exemples non limitatifs, en référence aux dessins annexés sur lesquels la figure 1 est une vue en perspective d'un séchoir sur pieds selon l'invention ; la figure 2 est une vue en perspective d'une housse selon l'invention ; la figure 3 est une vue en perspective d'une va- riante de réalisation pliable montrée en position déployée ; la figure 4 est une vue de cette variante repré- sentée pliée ; la figure 5 est une vue en perspective d'un séchoir de fenêtre pliable selon l'invention, montrée en position déployée ; la figure 6 est une vue de ce même séchoir de fe- notre en position pliée.
Conformément à la forme de réalisation ohoisie et représentée à la figure 1, un séchoir selon l'invention comporte deux arceaux 10 formant, aveo des longerons 11, un bâti monobloc stable. Entre les longerons 11 et aux extré- mités de ceux-ci, sont disposés des supporta transversaux 12 sur lesquels sont engagées coulissantes des tringles 13.
Ces tringles peuvent être ainsi aisément écartées ou rappro- chées les unes des autres pour faciliter l'étendage du linge à sécher.

En outre, chaque arceau 10 porte un axe transver- sal 14 sur lequel des tringles 15 sont montées coulissantes et pivotantes, par le jeu d'anneaux t6 de diamètre largement supérieur à celui de l'axe 14. En regard de l'axe 14, une tige 17 est disposée amovible sur deux potences 18 portées par l'arceau 10. Comme indiqué sur la figure 1, les tringles peuvent être amenées en position horizontale pour former , un moyen d'étendage auxiliaire ; dans cette position, elles reposent sur la tige 14 associée, laquelle forme butée.
Du fait de la largeur des anneaux 16, les tringles 15 peuvent avantageusement être déployées en éventail.
Selon l'invention, le séchoir peut être coiffé par une housse amovible du type de celle représentée en 19 à la figure 2., Cette housse, qui est en tissu, en toile plas- tique, en toile caoutchoutée ou en toute autre matière appropriée perméable ou imperméable ou même en matière rigide, comporte une ouverture 20 dans laquelle on introduit l'em- . bout 21 d'un sècheoheveux 22 servant de turbine de production d'air chaud ; selon la forme de réalisation représentée, la housse 19 comporte aussi des orifices d'évacuation 23. Selon diverses variantes non représentées, on peut fixer la housse
19 au ras du sol, sur les arceaux 10 ; ou encore laisser à cet endroit un interstice pour l'évacuation de l'air ; ou encore réaliser la housse en un tissu perméable à l'air.
Ces variantes peuvent être combinées entre elles, avec ou sans la disposition des orifices 23, lesquels pourraient d'ailleurs être disposés à un autre endroit favorable.
Cette housse peut isolément servir à la protection du linge contre la poussière ou le soleil, et en combinai- son avec un organe de pulsion d'air avantageusement mais non

obligatoirement chaud, tel que le sèche-cheveux représenté, permet d'activer ce séchage. Une fois repliée, son encom- brement est faible et son rangement facile.
Conformément à la variante repliable représentée à la figure 3, les arceaux 10 sont rotatifs sur un bâti 25, et les tringles 13 sont directement montées coulissantes sur ces arceaux qui forment support. Pour étendage du linge, les tringles 13 sont déployées sur les portions horizon- tales 26 des arceaux 10 ; ramenées le long des portions verticales de ces arceaux, les tringles 13 autorisent le pliage du séchoir qui se fait en rabattant les arceaux 10 contre le bâti 25 (figure 4).
Selon la variante de réalisation représentée à la figure 5, relative à un séchoir de fenêtre, les trin- gles 13 sont engagées sur des potences 27 montées rotatives sur un bâti 28. Ce dernier est muni de crochets rotatifs
29 permettant son accrochage sur le rebord d'une fenêtre.
Le bâti 28 comporte aussi des trous 30 permettant sa fi- xation murale, auquel cas les crochets 29 sont retirés.
Les potences 27 ont leur extrémité libre munie d'une boule d'arrêt 31 formant butée pour les tringles 13.
Pour étendage du linge, les tringles 13 sont déployées sur les portions horizontales des potences 27 ; leur mobilité facilite l'étendage du linge ; ramenées le long des portions verticales de ces arceaux les tringles 13 auto- risent le pliage du séchoir, qui se fait en rabattant les potences 27 parallèlement au bâti 28, ainsi que les cro- chets 29.
