     Conformément   à   l'invention   ce nouveau composé   représente   le produit de salification du chlorhydrate de lysine   arec   un halo. génure de carnitine, synonyme de N-halogénure de triméthylbétaine de   lucide   gamma-amino, bêta-hydroxy-butyrique, plus particulière- ment du chlorhydrate de 1-lysine avec le chlorure de di-carnitine. 



   Ce nouveau produit possède en solution aqueuse à 6% un pouvoir rotatoire   [[alpha]]22 D   de + 5,83. Il est très soluble   dans     l'eau,   soluble à chaud mais peu soluble à froid dans l'éthanol, et insoluble dans des solvants tels que   l'acétone   ou   l'éther*   Sa   dota*   position correspond à la formule suivante t
