<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
C'est donc sans aucune limitation que des exemples de réalisation sont décrits ci-après avec référence aux dessins annexés dans lesquels: les figures 1 et 2 représentent, en vue de face et avec coupe partielle, un sac ou sachet - en position ouverte - conformément à l'invention ; la figure 3 représente, en vue latérale avec coupe partielle, le sachet des figures 1 et 2 après fermeture;
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>

The invention relates to bags or sachets preferably of the type executed in synthetic material and more especially still in such heat-sealing materials.
It is known that, despite all the advantages presented by such materials, respectively by the bags or sachets which apply them, a significant problem remains: the closing of such bags or sachets combined with a gripping means forming, at the same time, one. excellent support for texts and / or advertising and / or decorative motifs. This means, widely used under the name of "Strip-seal", has moreover been the subject of Belgian patent No. P.V.31,792, filed at the time in the name of. same Applicant.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
For certain goods and also for certain types of bags, in particular bags with gussets, or even further to specific packaging conditions, the subsequent placement, respectively the fixing, by heat-sealing, of said "Strip-seal" element, perhaps slow down the packaging or even constitute a constraint either in the development of automatic packaging means, or in the manpower used for closing the packages.
In fact, it is known that the “Strip-seal” is essentially characterized by a thin element generally made of fibrous material, rectangular in shape and folded along the longitudinal median so as to have a substantially V-shaped section; this element is placed overlapping on the close edges of the opening of the bag and the whole is subjected to an effect of pressure and heat so as to achieve a hermetic closure by thermos oudur e.
It is the approximation and the correct arrangement of the edges delimiting the entry of the bag before the placement of said "Strip-seal", which may be the subject of said constraints, which the present invention aims to systematically remove.
Not only is this the object of the present invention, but its complementary object is, at the same time as it removes the said constraints, to fully maintain all the advantages specific to the aforesaid means of heretical closure, of gripping and of advertising. .
To this end, the invention relates to a packaging in the form of a bag or sachet, of a new type, essentially characterized in that it consists of a body of a known type, flat, with gussets or. others, but whose bottom is. produced by application, on the close edges of said bottom, of an added element, for example of paper or cardboard, folded in the shape of a V and energetically secured to said close edges so
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
to present a hermetically sealed bottom which, in fact, equals the closed upper part of the bag or sachet, as indicated above, by application of the "Strip-seal".
Therefore, the bag or sachet according to the invention is in the form of a body or sheath, the upper part of which is open and the lower part of which is hermetically closed by such an insert folded in the form of a V. and firmly secured to the corresponding part of the bottom of said body or sheath by heat-welding.
It will then be sufficient to fill this bag or sachet of a surprising type, in the manner of an ordinary bag or sachet, and to close it subsequently by any means and in any manner.
When the bag or sachet has thus been closed, it will suffice to turn it over and, in this closed state, it will appear like a normal bag or sachet to which the aforesaid “Strip-seal” device will have been applied.
The closure can be done by any known means, for example by direct welding of the close edges of the bag or sachet, by making a flat bottom, by applying a provision similar to that which constitutes the bottom, etc ...
The bag or sachet according to the invention can be made in any size, in any shape and in any suitable material.
It is therefore without any limitation that embodiments are described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figures 1 and 2 show, in front view and in partial section, a bag or sachet - in the open position - in accordance with the invention; FIG. 3 represents, in side view with partial section, the bag of FIGS. 1 and 2 after closure;
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
FIGS. 4, 5, 6 and 7 represent, in a perspective view, variant embodiments.
As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the packaging according to the invention is formed of a body or sheath 1 open in its upper part 2 and the bottom of which is produced by bringing the adjacent edges 3-4 together and joining them together. by an insert 5, generally made of a fibrous material, folded lengthwise in half so as to form a kind of rider whose section is in the shape of a V or U, the two wings of the rider coming to rest on said edges close together 3-4 and the whole being mutually and hermetically secured, preferably by heat-welding.
The bags or sachets are thus delivered with such a bottom and they are capable of being filled and closed, respectively used, very exactly like a bag or sachet of any type.
The surprising effect is that after filling, closing and turning, they are in the form of bags or sachets provided, at the head, with said insert ± forming, at the same time, means for closing, gripping and advertising.
In FIG. 3, the closing of the bag or sachet has been shown diagrammatically after folding, by folding, the edges delimiting the opening 2¯. Nevertheless, the closure means are essentially variable and will be determined above all by the nature of the packaged product, the visual effects to be obtained, the packaging closure means used.
In Figure 4, there is shown such a bag or sachet 1, the bottom and the upper part are closed by the same element 5 - I so that said packaging is located, extended on either side by said elements of gripping and also forming a support for texts and / or advertising and / or decorative motifs.
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
In FIG. 5, a variant has been shown diagrammatically in which ¯le bag or sachet 1 has the bottom element but the closing of which is carried out by bringing together the edges 2'-2 "defining the opening 2 of the bag or sachet, and said edges thus brought together have been secured, for example by heat-welding, while receiving an appropriate decorative shape formed, in this case, by fluting.
We could obviously, to the parts thus brought together, give any other decorative form such as striping, beading, etc. '
Finally, in Figures 6 and 7, two variants of the execution of Figure 3 have been shown schematically, these variants being characteristic by the shape of their closures, respectively 6-7, which, subsequently, will constitute the flat bottoms of the respective packaging. 1. The formation of such characteristic closures can be done either at. by hand, or automatically, in proportion to the size of the packaging company.
One could obviously imagine all other embodiments still, without departing from the scope of the invention, provided that at the outset said packaging is in the form of a bag or sachet, the bottom of which has, in advance, 'added element as described above and shown in the accompanying drawings.
