<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Fig. 1 est une vue en coupe axiale d'un robinet d'é- querre perfectionné selon l'invention;
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
11-11 de la Fig. 1; ' Fig. 3 est une vue en élévation de la olé;
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

Improvement brought to the angle valves for central heating radiators of the double type, regulation.
Valves for central heating radiators are most often with double adjustment, namely an adjustment carried out by the fitter and determining the maximum flow rate of the valve, 'and an adjustment carried out by the user and determining the effective flow rate of the valve between zero and the maximum value set by the fitter. '
When the valve is of the plug type, the adjustment of the maximum flow rate is generally carried out by sliding in the key a shutter linked by an axial rod to the control member and modifying the useful cross section of the lights. the key, means linking the latter to the shutter so that the pivoting of this shutter causes that of the key.
In the tap? square of this type, the key also includes soft lights arranged in renared one of
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
the other and each extending at an angle a little less than
90
The object of the present invention is a double adjustment type central heating radiator angle plug valve, which is characterized in that the key has a single lumen extending over an angle greater than 90, and of preferably close to 180, and in that the stops cooperating with the adjustment index are arranged so as to allow this key to pivot at an angle slightly greater than that of this single slot.
This arrangement makes it possible to reduce the height of the light for the same liquid passage section. Given that a reduction in the height of this port leads to a two or three times greater reduction in the total height of the valve, this arrangement therefore makes it possible to appreciably reduce this total height and, consequently, the weight of the valve. tap. In addition, this arrangement is advantageous for the purge because there can then be no air trapped in the key.
A single stop system is advantageously provided to limit the movement of the adjustment index, and therefore the pivoting of the key.
Preferably, the section of the portion of the shutter control rod, which is fitted into the index finger, and that of the corresponding opening of the index finger are asymmetrical with respect to the axis of the valve. , so as to allow the index to be placed in only one angular position with respect to the control rod.
An embodiment of the angle valve according to the invention has been described below, by way of nonlimiting example, with reference to the appended desstn in which:
Fig. 1 is a view in axial section of an improved angle valve according to the invention;
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
Fig. is a cross section along the line
11-11 of FIG. 1; 'Fig. 3 is an elevational view of the ole;
Fig. 4 is a plan view of the adjustment index.
As shown in the drawing, the angle valve comprises a body 1 comprising an axial bore, the lower part of which is threaded and forms a connection 2 for a first liquid duct, and which is provided with a lumen. 3 opening into a radial connection 4.
In a cap 5 screwed into the body 1, is pivotally mounted a cylindrical key 6 provided with a light 7 which. when it is facing the light 3, ensures the common! - * cation between the conduits connected to the fittings 2 and 4. The light 7 extends over approximately 150
In the key 6 is axially movable mounted a shutter 8 integral with a control rod 9. This rod comprises a threaded portion 10 which is engaged in a threaded portion 11 of the cap 5. The rotation of the rod 9 has thus for the purpose of causing the shutter 8 to move in front of the light 7 and to modify the surface of this light through which the liquid can go from one of the conduits 2 and 4 to the other; it therefore determines the maximum speed that the user can obtain.
The key is stretched as indicated at 12 and comprises two internal ribs 13 disposed substantially at 90 from the slot 12. These ribs are engaged in grooves 14 of the shutter 8. The pivoting of the rod 9 therefore causes that of the key. 6.
On the upper portion of the control rod 9 is fitted an adjustment index 15 which cooperates with two stops such as 16 carried by the body to limit the movement of this index, therefore the pivoting of the rod 9. These stops are angularly spaced at an angle of approximately 160 This angle must in fact be greater than that of the slot 7., because
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
the thickness of the index must be taken into account in particular.
The section of the upper portion of the rod 9 and that = 40. The corresponding opening of the index 15 are asymmetric with respect to the axis of the valve, as seen in FIG. 4, so that the index finger can only be placed in one position relative to the rod 9.
It goes without saying that the invention should not be regarded as limited to the embodiment described. and shown and that modifications can be made without departing from the scope of this patent.
