Description : L'appareil est composé et caractérisé par;
Description détaillée :

The present invention relates to: A nautical navigation device called "AUTOMOTIVE WATER SKIS", a sports and competition machine, of which the pilot, standing on the skis, controls the movements, by commands by cables and sets of legs; -This apparatus, of an entirely new presentation, in application of a technique connecting, on the one hand to water skiing, and on the other hand, to the so-called out-of-bounds gear, has nautical possibilities much more extensive than all existing similar devices.
It presents, from a spectacular and sporting point of view, an extremely interesting progress.
Description: The device is composed and characterized by;
1 / - Two very elongated floats (a and b-fig. 1), shaped like skis; unsinkable, due to their design; of suitable load-bearing capacity and special fairing.
2 / -The shape and position of the spacers which connect the two ski-floats.
3 / -The option given by the assembly of the spacers, to allow the whole of the apparatus that it be fixed or articulated,
4 / -The motorization of this machine; which gives it its autonomy, 5 / -The wiring devices, allowing the piloting of this machine and the control of its engine.
6 / -The device, very particular and effective security.
The new nautical apparatus, described above and shown in the drawing (FIG. 1) is a non-limiting example of an industrial embodiment.
Detailed description :
A / - The design of honeycomb floats, made of wood, cork, plastics. -The fairing of these floats (c & d - fig. 2) showing that the sides of each float are towards the interior of the apparatus and that they descend vertically, to form the keel at their lowest point, - The lines (e-fig.) And (f-fig. 4) which show other shapes, which can be given to the float skis.
B / - The design of the spacers, bringing together the skis-floats mounted on them, as high as possible, to clear the water and whose particularity is that they can be mounted, either fixed or on vertical axes forming journals (gg 'and hh' Fig. 2) to achieve an articulated assembly, or not, according to the desire of the user.
C / - The motorization of the device by the adaptation of an outboard motor unit, mounted on the rear crossmember and whose submerged arm - propeller and rudder holder is completely free, to attack the liquid element and allow maneuvers in all directions, (i-fig. 1).
D / -The realizations (fig. 5 and fig. 6) the first, for the piloting of the apparatus when it is mounted rigid, the second, when it is mounted articulated. - Note, in (fig. 5) that the cables with handles pass through the pulleys (j and k) and (1 and m) to reach the rudder bar (n-fig. 5 and o-fig. 6) ). And that, on (fig.6), the cables (p and q), fixed on the skis-floats, are mounted crossed, to arrive at the bar; they act by the action of the relative displacement of the floats, under pilot Inaction.
