La présente invention a pour objet une cloche à rôtir qui est conçue de façon à servir également de pare-graisse évitant les éclaboussu- res de graisse et de liquide pendant la cuisson des mets dans la poêle sur laquelle est posée la cloche.
Suivant l'invention, la cloche à rôtir comporte une cheminée à ouïes latérales munie d'une opercule en forme de cuvette perforée, et un couvercle à jupe coiffant cette cheminée, dont la jupe présente des rainu- res coopérant avec des arrêts pour permettre d'enfoncer plus ou moins le couvercle sur la cheminée, en vue de masquer ou démasquer les ouies latéra- les qui sont elles-mêmes munies d'écrans protecteurs du côté intérieur,
On peut ainsi laisser échapper les vapeurs de cuisson par les ouïes sans danger d'éclaboussures, ou fermer les ouies complètement ou dans une mesure réglable, par exemple pour la cuisson à l'étouffée.
Dans une forme d'exécution préférée, les rainures de la jupe du couvercle sont obli- ques et crantées, de façon qu'en tournant le couvercle en même temps qu'on le soulève ou l'abaisse, on puisse engager l'un ou l'autre cran sur l'arrêt et régler ainsi à volonté l'ouverture des ouïes.
En enlevant le couvercle, on découvre l'opercule perforé et l'on peut, sans risque d'éclaboussures, verser par les ouvertures de l'opercule un liquide dans la poêle ou laisser fondre dans la cuvette perforée du beurre ou une autre matière grasse, qui-s'écoule dans la poêle par lesdites ouvertures.
Eventuellement, le bas de la cloche peut être pourvu d'une couronne d'ouïes et entouré d'une bague mobile obturant ou découvrant les dites ouies, à volonté, pour ventiler la cloche au cours de la cuisson.
