    PORTE-BOUTEILLES.

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

    BOTTLE RACK.

The present invention relates to bottle holders obtained from a single sheet of cardboard or another material and formed of two contiguous symmetrical parts.

Its purpose is to allow the production of objects of this kind with four advertising faces without a gluing operation with the assembly being closed from the upper part and to considerably facilitate the assembly of the various elements.

This bottle holder is characterized essentially in that two superimposed elements interconnected for example by stapling and involved in the formation of a handle are provided with projections of substantially triangular shape on which are articulated tabs for forming bottle compartments which are further articulated on the vertical edges of projections also of substantially triangular shape forming part of longitudinal faces.

Other characteristics of this utensil will emerge from an exemplary embodiment which will be given below without limiting the subject of the invention with reference to the appended drawings in which:
FIG. 1 represents the cardboard sheet provided with the various cutouts and from which the bottle holder is made.

Figure 2 is a perspective view showing the completed bottle holder.

Figure 3 shows the cardboard sheet after folding and superimposing the two symmetrical halves.

The bottle holder object of the invention is made from a single sheet of cardboard or another material formed of two entirely symmetrical parts.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

Each of these parts is cut so as to include an element 1 of substantially rectangular shape provided along a horizontal edge with a tab 2 and drilled over a certain length parallel to this edge with an opening 3, intended to serve grip handle. This opening or slot 3 has along one of the sides of the notches 4 corresponding to the fingers of the hand.

Along a vertical edge of the element 1 is provided a tongue 5 which descends substantially lower than the part 1 and to which is connected by a fold 6 an element 7 intended to enter the formation of one of the faces sides of the bottle holder.

On the element 7 is articulated by a vertical fold 8 an element 9 intended to constitute one of the longitudinal faces of the bottle holder.

On the element 9 are articulated: a) by a vertical fold 10, an element 11, entering into the formation of a lateral face opposite to that obtained by the element 7; b) by a horizontal fold 12, an element 13 intended to form part of the bottom of the bottle holder.

Along the horizontal edge parallel to the fold 12 of the element 13 is articulated by a fold 14 a rectangular element 131 (fig. 1) similar to the element 13 and forming part of a set similar to that 1-13 which has been described above except that it may not have a tab 2.

Element 11 is provided vertically with a tab 15.

An important peculiarity of this object is that the dividing partitions of the bottles are formed of simple tongues 16 which are articulated: a) on the one hand, by a fold 17 on the vertical edge of a roughly triangular projection 18 of element 1; b) on the other hand, by a fold 19 on a vertical edge of a roughly triangular projection of the element 9.

In order to make the bottle holder as shown in Figure 2, the two assemblies 1-13 are superimposed by folding around
14 and the following operations are also carried out: a) folding the tabs 5 inwards and stapling in
21 with the elements 1.

On the other hand, the two tabs 5 are stapled together at 22 and for this purpose a window 23 is provided in each of the elements 7 and in symmetrical positions. B) the elements 11 are folded back at 90 around the folds 10 and the tabs 15 are folded back at 90 relative to each of the elements 11 so as to overlap in the final object and to be stapled at 24 by means of windows 25 provided in the elements 11. A tongue 161 similar to the tabs 16 is articulated on the one hand on a projection 18 of the elements
1 and on the other hand on a side face 11. c) stapling in 26 of the elements 1 after superposition. d) folding tab 2 onto the two elements 1 and stapling at 27.

As will be appreciated, this bottle holder formed in one piece is of a particularly simple design and does not require any gluing.

It is designed in such a way as to have four advertising sides and is distinguished in particular by the handle elements 1 which exist only in the upper part of the bottle holder and ensure an assembly.
