TURBINE A EXPLOSIONS.

<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

TURBINE WITH EXPLOSIONS.
The blast turbine is a continuous rotary motion type motor.
The scanning is done by equicurrent.
I) Fuels: The fuels used consist of a mixture of oil and gasoline.
2) Oxidizer: Air.
3) Volumes: The different volumes that make up the engine are obtained by the difference in diameter between the turbine and the casing. The bottom of the housing and the flange constitute the lateral sealing of these volumes. The two gas separators and the 2 movable cylinder heads delimit these volumes. The two gas separators, diametrically opposed, are 90 away from the movable cylinder heads, so the total volume is divided into four equal parts.
Volumes 1 and 3 are used for admission and pre-compression; the other two 2 and 4, on the trigger and the exhaust. a) Intake: The intake volume extends from the intake port to the movable cylinder head b) Compression: The compression volume is equal to the internal volume of the cylinder head minus the volume of the cam that is located in the space of the aforesaid volume. c) Compression ratio: The compression volume is six times smaller than that of the intake. d) Aspiration and Exhaust: Are made by lights.
4) Operation: The turbine: This is a flywheel surmounted by several cams, including three main ones, A, B and C, and three auxiliaries, D, E, and F, these placed at 45 of the prin -

cipales, seen in the direction of rotation. The three main cams suck and compress, receive rebound and exhaust according to their position in the crankcase. They are also used to reverse the movable yokes in the relaxed position. The three auxiliary cams reverse the movable cylinder heads in the compression posiii on.
Each volume undergoes different transformations:
A) Admission: After the passage of the gas separator, the cam A by moving in the chamber I creates a depression behind it and admits the gas mixture, coming from the fuel, until it passes through the movable cylinder head. This will limit the intake volume, so it will be equal to chamber I.
B) Compression: The cam B, arriving in its turn in the chamber I, will compress on its front face the gases admitted by; the cam A, the movable cylinder head, opening its compression side, will admit the compressed gases into its interior volume. Cam B, passing through this volume, reverses the cylinder head to its detent explosion position. At the same time a spark emerges from the ignition plug, thus sharply increasing the pressure by its combustion, which has the effect of pushing in a tangent and direct force on the rear face of the cam B.
C) Exhaust:
The gases will expand slowly and continuously, allowing the burnt gases to escape at atmospheric pressure. Cam C will take care of driving them out completely '.
For the lower part, the operation will be identical.
D) Distribution:
The distribution is carried out as follows:
1) A special steel movable cylinder head which can rotate alternately on its axis according to the movement impregnated by the cams of the turbine. It is held in one direction or the other by a return spring attached to the outside.
2) The turbine surmounted by six cams a) Three large ABC cams, placed 120 one apart from the other, which pass two or three hundredths of a millimeter from the inside of the housing, overturn the cylinder head, in the relaxed position when they pass through it. b) Three small cams D E F, placed 120 from each other and 75 behind, seen in the direction of rotation.
They reverse the cylinder head in the compression position.
3) Four lights, of which, on each side, an intake port and an exhaust port.
E) Ignition: which comprises: a) A spark plug placed in each compression chamber of the cylinder head. b) A Delco with six cams and six contacts. Uneven contacts will be connected together as will the even ones, and a single wire will be connected to each spark plug. c) The Delco camshaft will rotate at the same speed as the turbine.
Advantages and qualities. : compared to an ordinary four-stroke piston engine:
I) Reduced vibrations - rotary movement of the turbine instead of the reciprocating movement of the piston - crank rod.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
2) Power increase:
Ordinary engine - three cylinders, - two turns - three explosions. Turbine engine - three bosses - two turns - twelve explosions.
3) Increase and flexibility of acceleration by its large number of explosions in relation to an ordinary four-stroke engine.
4) Lower CV Weight Ratio.
5) Lower cost price given the limited number of parts and easier manufacturing.
6) Assembly and disassembly machinery, and less wear on the lower number of parts in contact.
7) Full intake and exhaust without gas braking, the lights being always and fully open.
8) In order to obtain more powerful engines, one can group, or increase the diameter and divide it into volumes so as to be able to place three or four movable cylinder heads, which considerably increases the power.
