MAGNETO WITH CONDUCTIVE PIECE DEPIACING IN: 'THE: TWO SENSES, .EN
INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYED-AS GAS LIGHTER.
The invention relates to a magneto, in particular used as a gas lighter, with an ignition armature and a conductive part of the lines of force which moves in a rectilinear manner and thanks to which an air gap can be created in the magnetic circuit. of the igniter, which can cause a change in the magnetic flux which is used at the time of ignition to produce an ignition spark.
In known embodiments of such magnetos, a part con-. cylindrical duct is moved in a bore, transversely to the force lines. This conductive piece is in one of its end positions between a pole piece connected with the core of the ignition armature and a pole counterpart, thus closing the magnetic circuit.
After moving the conductive part to its opposite end position, the magnetic circuit is opened and a voltage pulse corresponding to the change in magnetic flux is induced in the ignition armature.
In this type of construction, however, there is always a stronger dispersion flux which increases as the air gap increases, and decreases the modification of the main flux, so that the induced voltage only reaches a relatively low value. .
This drawback is avoided if, in accordance with the invention, the conductive part of the lines of force and the air gap arising during movement in both directions thereof, are located in the part of the surrounding ignition armature. by winding. In such a device, the total magnetic flux producing the induction in the ignition windings must pass through the air gap; therefore, no harmful dispersion flow occurs.
Various examples of execution are shown in the drawing.

Fig. 1 shows a magneto with a two-leg magnet frame.
Fig. 2 shows a magneto with a three-leg magnet frame, with external magnets.
Fig. 3 shows another magneto with internal magnets.
The magneto according to fig. 1 has a magnet frame 11 with an incorporated permanent magnet 12. The magnetic flux leaving this magnet closes via a conductive part 13, an air gap 14 and a leg 15 of the frame. magnet,. which are disposed within an ignition coil indicated by a primary coil 16 shown schematically. By means of a cam 17 and a slide 19 guided in a fixed bearing 18, the part 13 with its front is approached at the front, by crushing a spring 20, of the leg 15 of the frame 11, and, the cam 17 continuing to rotate, is moved away again from the position drawn by the spring 20.
At the same time, a switch 21 is opened by a stop 22 fixed on the slide 19, which in the known manner reinforces the formation of powerful voltage pulses in the secondary winding 23 indicated schematically, in the circuit of current of which the ignition spark path 24 is located.
The magneto shown in figure 2 differs from that of figure 1, only in that two magnets 31 and 32 are arranged in the magnet frame executed with three legs 33, 34, 35.
In the magnet frame, also with three legs shown in figure 3, the middle leg is formed by two permanent magnets
40 and 41. The conductive part here is the permanent magnet 41, which is arranged so that the two magnets oppose each other by their poles of opposite names, and reinforce each other in their action.
The cam 17 is rationally coupled with a gas valve 25 shown schematically of a stove or a gas oven. This coupling can be direct or indirect, through special transmission members (multiplication, trigger coupling or similar).
