CONSTRUCTION PROCESS FOR CONCRETE WALLS.
The present invention relates to a construction method in which the walls are raised by horizontal layers of concrete poured successively between two partitions, each of which consists of panels interposed between column elements. Each post element is mounted by interlocking on the lower post element which was used to form the formwork of the previously cast foundations. 'Two superposed series of column and panel elements are therefore sufficient to carry out the formwork necessary for the casting of a bed.
A description will be given below, by way of demonstration and without limitation, of an embodiment of the addition in which
Fig. 1 is a view of the column element,
Fig. 2 is a partially sectional view of a wall under construction with three series of superimposed column elements forming formwork for a new concrete base to be poured.
The post element is a straight prismatic piece of wood 1 with a rectangular section in its central section and thinned at its lower end and at its upper end to be able to extend exactly, by interlocking, an identical element placed below or above.
This piece of wood carries two angles 2 having the height of a seat, that is to say a panel, and fixed by screws against the side faces, two cleats 3 projecting on either side of the face front and fixed against this face by the lag bolts, two plates 4, 5 with central hole, fixed against the same face by screw holes, and arranged to receive respectively an assembly bolt 6 and a clamping rod 7, four pads 8 fixed by screws on the lower part set back from the front face, an internally threaded sleeve 9 resting against the lower part of the rear face by a square collar tightened by screws and finally four adjusting screws 10 engaged in the front face, and passing through the tapered upper part of the post insulation.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Fig. 2 shows how this post element is used in the construction of a concrete wall, concurrently with panels 11 of the wedges 12 and temporary braces 13. Two facing post elements, held 3. the distance apart by a temporary brace 13 are united by the clamping rod 7. Two superimposed post elements are adjusted in relative position by the adjustment screws 10 pressing on the pads 8 and assembled by the assembly bolt 6 screwed into the sleeve threaded 9. A panel 11 is placed against a wall of the wall under construction between two consecutive post elements by clamping by means of two wedges 12 against the angles 2.
A concrete course is then poured over the surface of the last course previously cast between the posts and the panels of the upper series and up to the level of the upper ends of the angles 2 of these posts and of the edges of these panels. The posts and panels removed from the lower series are then mounted on the upper series of posts and panels and a new concrete base is poured between these last posts and panels.
Two series of superimposed post and panel elements therefore suffice for the execution of each course and consequently for the construction of the wall.
It may be practical to carry out the formwork in one go, which allows three successive layers of concrete to be poured. In this case, he has three elements of superimposed elements mounted on a series of support elements supported by the last course of the constructed part.
