In the various figures, the same reference notations designate similar elements.
The burner shown in Figures 1 and 2 'comprises a tube 1 which, at its lower part, is slightly inclined towards one of its ends 2.
An air distributor 3 is mounted at this end. It is formed by a hollow half-sphere, pierced with holes, 4 at its lower part. The holes may be more numerous in the lower part of the distributor. in a way to. - - - Bring a larger quantity of air into the area close to the fuel liquid supply which is provided by a vertical pipe 5.
Near the orifice 6 of this duct 5, there emerges an auxiliary air supply pipe 7, arranged horizontally and therefore normally to the duct 5.
A fan 8 feeds the pipe 7 and the distributor 30 Its outer enclosure 9 is fixed on a casing 10 surrounding the tube 1, so that the space 11 existing between this tube and the casing 10 is in relation with the fan. which ensures air circulation around the tube 1 and prevents any overheating of the latter.
An ignition hole 12 is formed by the upper orifice of a duct 13 mounted at the upper part of the tube 1, near the end 2 and fixed to the casing 10 by a ring 14. Another ring 16 closes off. 'wraps 10 and secures the second end 15 of the tube 1.
The operation is as follows:
The fuel, for example fuel oil leaving the orifice 6 and meeting the air of the pipe 7, undergoes a kind of stirring and emulsion, which promotes gasification, moreover., The jet of air leaving the pipe 7 tends to take the fuel oil and the gases already formed, towards the end 15 of the tube 1, therefore in a hotter zone than that located in the vicinity of the end 2. The gasification is thus favored o The air necessary for the combustion of the gas is fed through the holes 4, the number, shape and arrangement of which should be determined depending on the other characteristics of the burner.
Thanks to the arrangement of the various components, combustion is very complete and can even continue beyond end 15, when the burner is connected to a heating installation.
In FIG. 3, the burner 16 is connected to a long pipe 17, in which the hot gases circulate which are cooled during their journey by giving up their heat to the pipe.
It is not necessary to create a draft of the pressurized air supplied by the fan sufficient to ensure the circulation of the gases.
The burner can also be associated with a boiler 18.
It should be understood that the invention is in no way limited to the embodiments described and that many modifications can be made to the latter without departing from the scope of the present application.
Thus, the distributor could have a shape different from a sphere, one could also eliminate the pipe 7, although the presence of the latter improves the operation of the burner.
Finally, the shape of the lower part of the tube could be modified although the one chosen ensures good guidance of the gases.
