UPGRADES TO TABLE FOOTBALL GAMES -, -
The present invention relates to improvements to table football games of the type comprising 22 figures which are arranged on trees arranged transversely above a rectangular background representing the field. The figurines are arranged in two teams following the formation of this sports game. The trees are preferably operated by four players, opposing each other in pairs.
We have already thought of making these kinds of table games comprising the so-called figurines spread over eight trees to which it is imprinted not only movements of rotation, but also of translation, so as to swing and move the figurines. above the miniature field, with a view to stopping or giving a shock on a ball introduced into the play to lead it into the opponent's goal or goal.
Practice shows that the rotation of said shafts as well as their axial translation are not easy by simply making openings in the rising edge of the game table for the passage of these shafts and that, moreover, it was possible to introduce the ball. in the game in a manner favorable to one or other of the groups of players .; moreover, a too even plane on which the ball is put into play does not provide sufficient appeal and does not in any way imitate the real football field.
The object of the present invention is to obviate these drawbacks and essentially results in that:
The trees placed transversely above the table and forming the playing field, carrying the figures representing the players, find their bearing in the ball bearings of which the internal diameter is. slightly greater than the external diameter of said shaft, so as to facilitate rotation of said shaft, while allowing slight axial displacements. The surface of the game is formed by a non-smooth glass and means are provided for introducing the ball inside the game, between the two central rows of the figures.
Other features will be described in the description which follows.

In the accompanying drawing is shown by way of example an embodiment of the present invention.
Figo 1 shows a table football game in perspective according to the present invention, comprising an ad hoc table
Fig. 2 shows, on an enlarged scale, a section along I-I of FIG. the
According to the embodiment shown in the drawing, the football game essentially comprises a frame 1 arranged around a bottom 2 made up of a non-plain glass plate, generally known under the name of struck glass or the like - the glass is preferably reinforced.
On the two longitudinal sides of the frame 1, there are openings 3 each intended to receive a ball bearing 4, these bearings 4 being held in their respective openings by flanges 5, 5 '.
Shafts 6 to 67 find their bearing in ball bearings 4 and carry, at desired distances, figurines 7; these trees are arranged parallel and transversely above the bottom 20
The external diameters of shafts 6 to 67 are slightly smaller than the internal diameters of ball bearings 4, so that a slight play is created; thus, these shafts, by their weight, rotate on their bearing 4, while they can move freely in their axial direction.
As a result, the control of the figurines 7, carried rigidly by said shafts 6 to 6, is extremely easy, both for their rotation and for their lateral displacement, so as to be able to impart to the ball a forward movement, or to stop the ball by bringing one of the figurines on the trajectory of the said ball.
The figures of the same team are distributed over trees 6, 6 ', 6365, respectively 62, 64, 66, 67 according to the usual rules of the game of football; one of the ends of the shafts is provided with a handle 8 so as to facilitate the handling of the figurines 7
So that the ball is introduced into the game without effect, thus avoiding that it is brought by favoring one or the other group of players, there is provided in the middle of one of the longitudinal ribs, an opening 9 in front of which is disposed a bucket 10, for bringing a ball into play.
The latter being introduced into the bucket, crosses and runs through the space separating the central rows of the opposing figures; on the lateral sides of the frame are arranged blocks 11, guided on an axis 12, and each comprising the numbers from 1 to 10; each of the groups of players can thus easily mention and control the number of goals achieved during the game which is generally played after ten introductions of the ball.
For games placed in public places, the balls are distributed automatically by the introduction of one or more coins. In this case, the balls passing in the goals are retracted.
The invention has been described and illustrated purely as an indication and in no way limiting and it goes without saying that numerous modifications can be made to its details without departing from its spirit.
