MEMOIRE DESCRIPTIF déposé à l'appui d'une demande de BREVET d'INVENTION "Corset pour Dames".
La présente invention est relative à un corset pour dames, comprenant une enveloppe recouvrant à partir de la taille, la par- tie arrière et les parties latérales du corps, de même qu'une sangle recouvrant la partie inférieure du ventre, sensiblement sur la longueur d'un demi-pourtour du corps, et fixée par ses bords latéraux à la partie de l'enveloppe susdite recouvrant la partie arrière de ce dernier.
Le but de la présente invention est de réaliser un corset, soutenant et en même temps aplatissant le ventre de la personne qui le porte.
A cet effet, le corset susdit comprend une ventrière recou- vrant, à partir de l'estomac et par-dessus de ladite sangle, sen- siblement tout le ventre et attachée de manière lâche à au moins un des bords latéraux de l'enveloppe.
Dans une forme avantageuse de l'objet de l'invention, la ventrière précitée est pourvue de lames élastiques, telles des baleines, disposées parallèlement aux bords latéraux de l'enve- loppe. La ventrière susdite est attachée au moins à un des bords

latéraux de l'enveloppe susdite par un lacet.
D'autres détails et particularités de l'invention ressorti- ront de la description d'un corset pour dames donnée ci-après, à titre d'exemple non limitatif et avec référence aux dessins ci- annexés.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente un corset selon l'invention.
Ce corset comprend une enveloppe 1 recouvrant à partir de la taille la partie arrière et les parties latérales du corps, de même qu'une sangle 2 recouvrant la partie inférieure du ven- tre et destinée à remonter les organes.
Cette sangle 2, réalisée en deux pièces 3 et 4 réunies par des agrafes 5 et pourvues de baleines 6, s'étend sensiblement sur la longueur d'un demi-pourtour du corps et est fixée par ses bords latéraux 7 à la partie 9 de l'enveloppe 1, recouvrant la partie arrière de ce dernier.
Le corset susdit comprend en plus une ventrière 10 recou- vrant, à partir de l'estomac et par dessus la sangle 2, sensible- ment tout le ventre. Le bord supérieur 19 de la ventrière est conformé en courbe de manière telle,que sa partie du milieu se trouve plus haut que ses extrémités et, par conséquent,pousse sur la partie supérieure de l'estomac. Cette ventrière 10 est attachée d'une manière lâche, au moyen d'un lacet 11 à un bord latéral 12 et par des agrafes 13 au bord latéral 14 de l'envelop- pe 1, de sorte que la ventrière 10 peut, dans une certaine me- sure, se déplacer en hauteur en glissant sur la sangle 2.
La ventrière 10 est pourvue de lames élastiques 8, telles des baleines, disposées parallèlement aux bords latéraux 12 et 14 de l'enveloppe 1.
Le bord inférieur 15 de la sangle 2 est réuni au bord infé- rieur 16 de la ventrière 10 par deux bandes 17 auxquelles sont suspendues les jarretelles 18 de devant.

Il doit être entendu que l'invention n'et nullement limitée à la forme d'exécution décrite ci-avant et que bien des modifica- tions peuvent y être apportées, notamment quant à la forme, à la constitution, au nombre et à la disposition des éléments interve- nant dans sa réalisation sans sortir du cadre de la présente de- mande de brevet, à condition que ces changements soient compati- bles avec l'esprit des revendications énoncées ci-après.

This corset comprises an envelope 1 covering from the waist the rear part and the lateral parts of the body, as well as a strap 2 covering the lower part of the stomach and intended to raise the organs.
This strap 2, made in two parts 3 and 4 joined by clips 5 and provided with ribs 6, extends substantially over the length of a half-circumference of the body and is fixed by its lateral edges 7 to the part 9 of the envelope 1, covering the rear part of the latter.
The aforesaid corset further comprises a belly 10 covering, from the stomach and over the strap 2, substantially the entire stomach. The upper edge 19 of the belly is shaped in a curve such that its middle part is higher than its ends and, therefore, pushes on the upper part of the stomach. This belly 10 is attached loosely, by means of a lace 11 at a side edge 12 and by staples 13 at the side edge 14 of the cover 1, so that the belly 10 can, in a to a certain extent, move in height by sliding on the strap 2.
The belly 10 is provided with elastic blades 8, such as ribs, arranged parallel to the side edges 12 and 14 of the casing 1.
The lower edge 15 of the strap 2 is joined to the lower edge 16 of the belly 10 by two bands 17 from which the garters 18 are suspended from the front.
