Je revendique la priorité de ce procédé de récupération de limail- -les de fonte ou d'acier dans un cubilot, jusqu'à ce jour aucun procédé satisfaisant n'était connu.
FONCTIONNEMENT. Lors de la mise à feu du cubilot,on remplit celui- ci de coke jusqu'à une hauteur variant de 600 à 800 mm au dessus destuyères à vent,ensuite on y met une certaine quantité de ma- -tières ferreuses et puis du coke & ainsi de suite.
Cet appareil s'adapte au cubilot juste au dessus des tuyères c'est à dire au niveau de la zone de fusion,on procède au remplissage du réservoir par des limailles ferreuses' Ensuite on met la soufflerie en action & la fusion des matières ferreuses contenues dans le cubilot commence.
En ce moment les limailles qui se trouvent dans la zone de fusion commencent également à fondre,la flamme passe par la cheminée de l'appareil et active la fusion des limailles;la chambre de souf- -flage située en dessous du réservoir distributeur projette de nouvelles limailles dans la chambre de fusion au fur & à mesure que celles-ci fondent et que la fonte liquide s'écoule dans le

creuset du cubilot.
C'est donc un appareil à fusion continue. l'Appareil est muni d'un clapet de réglage que l'on peut monter ou descendre afin de régler l'importance de la fusion et que l'on peut fermer totalement lorsque l'appareil ne fonctionne pas.
Ce clapet de fermeture permet l'étanchéité entre la cheminée à retour de flamme de l'appareil et le réservoir à limailles ; donc sans aucune perte de chaleur possible.

It is therefore a continuous fusion device. The device is fitted with a control valve which can be raised or lowered in order to adjust the extent of the melting and which can be closed completely when the device is not working.
This closing valve provides a seal between the appliance's backfire chimney and the filings tank; therefore without any possible heat loss.
