   L'invention s'étend aussi au procédé de fabrication de la   composition   et suivant lequel l'acide salicylique, l'acide benzoïque, l'héxaméthylène tétramine, le para-hydrobenzoate de méthyle (Nipagin) et l'éliotropine sont dissous dans un mélan- ge d'environ 500 gr. d'alcool à 96% avec 50 gr. d'eau distil- lée. 



   La solution ainsi obtenue est chauffée au bain marie, sans toutefois atteindre la température .d'évaporation du li- quide et ce pendant deux heures environ. 



   Dès que la réaction est   ccmplète,   c'est à dire que lors de la prise d'un échantillon de la solution chauffée, celui- ci ne laisse plus de trouble lors de son mélange avec de l'eau, on procède à évaporer le liquide .du mélange. 



   La substance ainsi obtenue est le désodorisant qui se présente comme un composé   extrêmement   stable, ayant l'aspect d'une poudre cristalline de très faible odeur et qui se con- serve parfaitement à l'abri de l'humidité et d'une chaleur excessive. 



   Le désodorisant suivant la présente invention est très puissant; il va cependant de soi que suivant les cas à trai- ter il doit être employé à des degrés différents, bien que, et à simple titre indicatif, quelques grammes par litre de pro- duit suffisent généralement à un dépouillage de 1,'odeur; pour une bande hygiénique entre autre, 0,3 à   0,1 gr..   donnent entière satisfaction.
