Les brosses à dents connues à ce jour comportent en général un manche dont une extrémité forme support pour les soies ou corps de brosse, de sorte que, pour l'emploi, la brosse est tenue horizontalement, dans le prolongement du manche. Il s'en suit que la plupart des usagers frottent les dents horizontalement, ce qui est absolument contraire aux prescriptions de l'hygiène dentaire et ne permet pas un nettoyage parfait, surtout des interstices entre les dents. Quand on veut brosser les dents de haut en bas (verticalement), on éprouve certaines difficultés, dues au fait que la brosse n'est pas bien en main dans ce mouvement de brossage.
La présente invention a pour objet une brosse permettant de brosser les dents verticalement - donc de la manière la plus ra- tionnelle - naturellement et sans difficultés, cette brosse étant essentiellement caractérisée par le fait que la partie brosse proprement dite est perpendiculaire ou sensiblement perpendiculaire (transversale) au manche de la brosse.

Dans la forme la plus rationnelle, mais non limitative, la brosse entière affecte l'aspect général d'un T dont la base est constituée par le corps de brosse, la branche verticale constituant le manche de la brosse. Pour l'emploi, le manche est tenu de préférence verticalement, le corps de brosse étant horizontal. Dans ce cas, le corps de brosse peut être de préférence légèrement concave pour épouser la forme extérieure des mâchoires ; inversement, il pourrait être bombé pour épouser la forme intérieure de la denture et on pourrait même concevoir une brosse à double corps de brosse (un corps de brosse sur chaque face de la tête du T) dont un serait convexe et l'autre concave. Il va de soi que cette forme concave ou convexe peut s'obtenir avec un support plan et des soies de longueurs différentes.
De préférence également, le manche est légèrement courbe dans le sens de la longueur et le support des soies peut lui-même, avec un manche rectiligne, former un certain angle avec l'axe du manche, tout en restant perpendiculaire à cet axe.
Pour fixer les idées, il est représenté au dessin annexé deux exemples non limitatifs de réalisation d'une brosse en forme de T.
Aux fig.l et 2, vues de face et latérale de la première forme, 1 est le manche rectiligne, en toute matière convenable, d'une pièce de préférence avec la tête 2 portant les éléments, soies on pinceaux de brosse 3. Cette tête est perpendiculaire au manche, mais (fig.2) elle est légèrement inclinée sur l'axe de celui-ci de manière que les soies, perpendiculaires à cette tête, soient inclinées par rapport au manche, et non perpendiculaires à celuici. La tête 3 peut évidemment être bombée (concave ou convexe) ou, si elle est plate, les soies peuvent être de longueurs différentes pour donner une surface d'attaque concave ou convexe.
Aux fig. 3 et 4, qui sont également des vues de face et latérale, le manche 1 est courbé longitudinalement, la forme de la tête étant quelque peu modifiée.

When you want to brush your teeth from top to bottom (vertically), there are certain difficulties, due to the fact that the brush is not well in hand in this brushing movement.
The present invention relates to a brush making it possible to brush teeth vertically - therefore in the most rational way - naturally and without difficulty, this brush being essentially characterized by the fact that the brush part proper is perpendicular or substantially perpendicular ( transverse) to the brush handle.

In the most rational form, but not limiting, the entire brush affects the general appearance of a T whose base is constituted by the brush body, the vertical branch constituting the handle of the brush. For use, the handle is preferably held vertically, the brush body being horizontal. In this case, the brush body may preferably be slightly concave to match the outer shape of the jaws; conversely, it could be curved to match the internal shape of the teeth and we could even design a brush with a double brush body (a brush body on each side of the head of the T), one of which would be convex and the other concave. It goes without saying that this concave or convex shape can be obtained with a flat support and bristles of different lengths.
Also preferably, the handle is slightly curved in the direction of the length and the support of the bristles can itself, with a rectilinear handle, form a certain angle with the axis of the handle, while remaining perpendicular to this axis.
To fix ideas, there is shown in the accompanying drawing two non-limiting examples of embodiment of a T-shaped brush.
In fig.l and 2, front and side views of the first form, 1 is the rectilinear handle, of any suitable material, in one piece preferably with the head 2 carrying the elements, bristles or brush brushes 3. This head is perpendicular to the handle, but (fig. 2) it is slightly inclined on the axis of the latter so that the bristles, perpendicular to this head, are inclined relative to the handle, and not perpendicular to it. The head 3 can obviously be rounded (concave or convex) or, if it is flat, the bristles can be of different lengths to give a concave or convex leading surface.
In fig. 3 and 4, which are also front and side views, the handle 1 is curved longitudinally, the shape of the head being somewhat modified.
