La présente invention consiste à établir un système de grebiche ou reliure volante au moyen de laquelle les fascicules ou revues périodiques groupées et reliées amovi- blement peuvent être convenablement ouvertes en vue de leur lecture facile, la dite grebiche étant pourvue de moyens permettant de la refermer aisément sans risque de coincement des fascicules d'extrémité entre le dos et la couverture de celle-ci.
A cet effet, suivant l'invention, le dos de la grebiche est garni intérieurement d'un faux dos présentant à ses par... ties supérieure et inférieure un évidement dans lequel peuvent jouer librement les extrémités repliées des fils métalliques de

reliage, les dites extrémités repliées de ces fils métalliques étant engagées dans une fente prévue respectivement aux extré- mités supérieure et inférieure d'une contreplaque fixée, après montage des dits fils, sur le faux dos susdit, les fentes dans la susdite contreplaque et les évidements dans le faux dos se présentant alors vis-à-vis les uns des autres.
A simple titre d'exemple, une forme de réalisation de l'objet de l'invention se trouve décrite ci après en référence au dessin schématique annexé, dans lequel
Fige 1 est une vue en perspective, de dos, d'une grebiche établie conformément à l'invention.
Fig. 2 est une vue de détail et à plus grande échelle, montrant les divers éléments constituant le dos de la grebiche.

Fige 5 montre la contreplaque garnie de ses fils de re- liage, avant sa fixation sur le faux dos.
Comme montré aux Fige 1 à 3, la grebiche est constituée par une feuille de carton pliée aux endroits voulus pour former le dos 6 et permettre le mouvement de charnière des couvertures 7 de la grebiche.
Suivant l'invention, et comme montré particulièrement aux Fig. 2 et 3, sur la face intérieure du dos 6 vient s'ap- pliquer,par collage ou autrement, un faux dos 8 présentant à @ proximité de ses extrémités supérieure et inférieure une entaille 9.
Les fils de reliage 10 sont montés sur une contre-plaque
11, les extrémités repliées 12 de ces fils éant engagées dans

une fente ou entaille 13 formée respectivement aux parties supérieure et inférieure de la dite contre-plaque.
Il est à remarquer que les entailles 9 et 13 formées dans les éléments 8 et 10, sont disposées de manière à se pré- senter vis-à-vis l'une de l'autre, lorsque ces éléments sont assemblés par collage et rivetage, tel que montré en 14.
En outre, l'évidement formé par l'entaille 9 présente une hauteur suffisante pour que les bouts repliés 12 des fils 10 ne soient pas coincés dans cet évidement et puissent jouer librement,dans le sens latéral, dans la fente 13 de la contre- plaque 11.
En considérant les Fig. 4 et 5, on verra que ces entailles 9 et 13 obtenues par poinçonnage ne s'étendent pas sur toute la largeur des éléments 8 et 11.
Il en résulte qu'en cours de manipulation des revues ou fascicules, reliés dans la grebiche, et notamment du premier et du dernier de ces fascicules, les fils de reliage de ceux- ci ne pourront en aucun cas pivoter autour de leurs bouts repliés, ce qui, non seulement abîme les dits fascicules par coincement de leur dos dans le pli ou charnière de la grebiche, mais entraîne foroément une déformation ou détérioration de cette dernière lorsqu'on la referme.
Il est bien entendu que sans s'écarter de l'idée de l'invention, les entailles ou évidements 9 et 13 obtenus par poinçonnage, pourront être formés de toute autre façon ap- propriée ou remplacés par tous moyens équivalents.

binding, the said folded ends of these metal wires being engaged in a slot provided respectively at the upper and lower ends of a counterplate fixed, after mounting said wires, on the aforesaid false back, the slots in the aforesaid backplate and the recesses in the false back then appearing vis-à-vis each other.
By way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention is described below with reference to the appended schematic drawing, in which
Fig. 1 is a perspective view, from behind, of a grebiche produced in accordance with the invention.

As shown in Figs 1 to 3, the grebiche consists of a sheet of cardboard folded at the desired locations to form the back 6 and allow the hinging movement of the covers 7 of the grebiche.
According to the invention, and as shown particularly in FIGS. 2 and 3, on the inside face of the back 6 is applied, by gluing or otherwise, a false back 8 having, near its upper and lower ends, a notch 9.
The binding wires 10 are mounted on a backing plate
11, the folded ends 12 of these wires being engaged in

a slot or notch 13 formed respectively in the upper and lower parts of said backing plate.
It should be noted that the notches 9 and 13 formed in the elements 8 and 10 are arranged so as to face one another, when these elements are assembled by gluing and riveting, as shown in 14.
In addition, the recess formed by the notch 9 has a sufficient height so that the folded ends 12 of the wires 10 are not wedged in this recess and can play freely, in the lateral direction, in the slot 13 of the counter. plate 11.
Considering Figs. 4 and 5, it will be seen that these notches 9 and 13 obtained by punching do not extend over the entire width of the elements 8 and 11.
As a result, during handling of the journals or booklets, bound in the grebiche, and in particular of the first and last of these booklets, the binding threads thereof may in no case pivot around their folded ends, which not only damages the said fascicles by jamming their backs in the fold or hinge of the grebiche, but inevitably leads to a deformation or deterioration of the latter when it is closed.
It is understood that without departing from the idea of the invention, the notches or recesses 9 and 13 obtained by punching can be formed in any other suitable way or replaced by any equivalent means.
