   D'une partie de disque circulaire en caoutchouc marquéA'et empêche l'éclaboussement des piétons et en général de tout objet de quelque nature que ce soit se   trpuvant   sur le passage des voitures automobiles.Cette bande est fabriquée d'une seule pièce avec 4 charnières marquées B.Ces charnières servent au réglage dans le sens transversal de la roue,la bande est fixée au moyen de ces charnières sur un encadrement marqué C et en cas d'éclatement d'un pneu cette bande pivote sur cet encadre- ment et évite ainsi toute rupture de l'appareil.Cet encadre- ment est fabriqué par des tubes en acier sans soudure et forme un triangle à bout redressé marqué D, on peut régler ce trian- gle dans le sens transversal de la roue au moyen des articu- lations marquées E.

   De deux pivots marqués F qui sont serrés contre la paroi du support marqué G, le triangle D est fixé, en desserrant ceux-ci on permet au triangle de remonter éga- lement dans le sens vertical de la roue.

  Le support marqué G'est maintenu par un pivot central qui per- met de faire balancer celui-ci dans les deux sens horizontaux de la voitures par suite du moindre frottement de la bande sur sur le sol et rappelé dans le sens vertical par deux ressorts marqués   R,accrochés   à un tube marqué I.Sur ce tube est fixé un second support marqué J qui soutient le premier marqué G.Entre ces deux supports une rondelle de fibre marquée K est inter- callée,pour rendre-le frottement du balancier plus doux.Dans le tube I un second tube marqué L coulisse,ce système annule tou- tes les trépidations de l'appareil,ce tube est surmonté d'un caoutchouc cylindrique ,

  marqué M faisant fonction de rotule et permettant de suivre la roue dans tous les sens.Ce caoutchouc est fixé dans une pièce marquée N qui sert d'attache au garde- boue et fixé dans celui-ci au moyen de deux vis marquées 0. 



  La pièce marquée P est une charnière permettant le placement de l'appareil dans le sens transversal de la roue,cette pièce n'en   forme qu'une avec   la boite de roulement à billes et est sur- montée du support   marqué Q   qui soutient les deux ressorts mar- qués R.Le roulement à billes est fixé sur un tourillon avec en- coche formant bouchon de roue marqué S maintenu en place par deux rochets marqués t compressés par deux ressorts marqués H et deux vis de pression marqués U;le tout placé dans la flasque marquée V,attachée à la cage de' roulement à billes par la vis marqué w. 



  L'appareil peut se placer universellement sur toutes les roues de n'importe quelle marque de   voiture,il   suffit de remplacer le bouchon de roue par un autre du même modèle surmonté du tou- rillon et coulé en une seule pièce.Cet appareil a la grande facilité de permettre son montage et démontage instantanément sans aucun outil.
