  MECANISME DE DIRECTION POUR   L'ENSEIGNEMENT   DE LA CONDUITE DES AUTOMOBILES. 



   Il est connu pour enseigner la conduite des automobiles d' utiliser des voitures comprenant deux volants de direction réunis entre eux par une transmission appropriée dans le but de rendre lers mouvements solidaires. 



   La présente invention a pour objet un mécanisme de ce genre se distinguant des systèmes connus en ce que les organes de trans- mission sont disposés sous le plancher, de manière   à   laisser toute liberté aux mouvements de l'élève et de son conducteur,et en ce que la tige de direction manoeuvrée par l'élève est supportée de fa- çon à pouvoir être réglée tout en évitant toute torsion. 



   Le dessin annexé à ce mémoire montre à titre d'exemple une forme d'exécution de l'invention. 



   Fig.I est une vue de face de la double direction,dont   Fig.2   donne une vue latérale en élévation,à échelle double.Fig.3 est une vue partielle par l'arrière correspondant à Fig.2.

   Comme il a été dit le professeur et l'élève disposent chacun d'un volant 1; 1' monté sur les tiges de direction 2,2'.Ces tiges sont entourées chacune d'un tube 3 maintenu par un carcan 4 et tra- versant le plancher 5 de la voiture. 



   Les tubes 3 des deux directions sont reliés entre eux,sous ce plancher,par un tendeur à tiges 6,dans le but de régler la distance entre les directions;ce tendeur est maintenu en place par un   ca,rcan
