La botte étant en poche (dans n'importe quelle position), on la sort de la main droite, par exemple, le dos de la botte contre la paume ae la main, et le poussoir c en avant vers le bas. Au simple toucher, la botte peut être sortie de la poche dans cette position, d'autant plus qu'elle s'y maintient du lait de l'introduire dans ladite poche dans la position convenable.
Le coté comprenant le talon et le couvercle se trouve à ce moment plus cas que le reste de la botte; de ce lait une cigarette vient par son poids se placer sur la ta lon élévateur. On pourrait d'ailleurs faciliter cette desce te par tous organes tolu que ressorts propres à exercer une pression aur 1'ensemble des cigarettes et à diriger vers le talon, la cigarette à taire sortir, à l'aide de tous orga- nes de guidage approprié*.
