  "ROULEMENTS " .

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

  "BEARINGS".

   The present invention relates to bearings made up of rings of revolution and rolling members, these rolling members preferably being formed by monobloc multiballs.

   The running gears were until now balls or rollerso
Both of these bodies have drawbacks in many cases. The balls crash as a result of overloads and the rollers as a result of a large contact surface ,,; give a fairly considerable friction.

   The object of the present invention is to provide a rolling member having more resistance to crushing than the ball and whose friction is less than that of the roller.

   To this end, according to the present invention, each rolling member is constituted by a solid of revolution whose meridian has several maxima, the contacts with the aforementioned rings of revolution taking place at reduced areas.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 maxima.

   According to a particularly favorable embodiment of the present invention, the solid of revolution can consist of several balls in a single block.

   Other details and features of the invention will become apparent from the description of the drawing appended to this specification and which shows by way of example only one embodiment of the invention.

   Figures 1 to 4 are views after cutting bearings.

   Figures 5 to 7 are perspective views of some forms of running gear housed in cages.

   In the figure Ides rings of revolution which comprises, the bearing are represented in 2. Any of the rolling elements consists of two balls in a single block 3-
In FIG. 2 we see a rolling member 3 located in a cage 4, the outer ring 5 being provided with a rolling raceway while the inner ring 6 does not.

   FIG. 3 represents a rolling member constituted by three balls in a single block, the central ball having a larger diameter than the two lateral balls of the same diameter. The rings can be made with or without a raceway.

   To achieve the conical bearings that can be used for example for the front wheels of automobiles and / or motorcycle clan hubs, a monobloc made up of two balls of different diameters * - in figures 5,6 and 7 of the bearings according to the invention, and corresponding to bearings, the rolling members of which are respectively rollers 8, barrels 9 and cone trunks 10; these running gear can be housed in cages 11, 12 and 13.

   In FIG. 8 we see a corrugated metal strip 15 which constitutes an internal partition separating the various rolling members.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

   It should be noted that the longitudinal dimension a of the sinuosities formed by this metallic tape is substantially double the transverse dimension bo
It is obvious that the invention is not exclusively limited to the embodiment shown and that many poor hearth modifications made in the form, the arrangement and the constitution of the elements in its realization, without going beyond the scope of the invention. present patent.
