II Suspension device for junction bellows of railway wagons II.
The suction devices with which the bellows used to resuscitate wagons are usually installed have the drawback of not allowing the immediate coupling of the bellows of two agons and they require the intervention of a less man and the use of 'special tools.
The invention relates to a suspension device allowing very easy coupling without special tools and by a single man, even in the case where the two wagons to be joined do not have the same height.
To this end, the suspension members of the soafelts of the coupled wagons are reworked by an articulated connection by means of a connection bar capable of being released at one end and of pivoting in a vertical plane, so as to live as a pendulum the

movements of the two wagons. In this way, this advantage is thus obtained that in order to transmit the movements of the wagons (movement of which the direction and the amplitude are irregular), it is not necessary to bring in the compensating springs.
In the accompanying drawings is shown by side vaes a dispositiof according to the invention.
Fig. 1 shows the two separate soafflets.
Fig. 2 shows them coupled.
On the transverse walls of ax wagons 1 and 2 are fixed brackets 3 which can move tie rods 5 provided with rollers 4. the lower ends of tie rods 5 belonging to the two wagons are in the coupling position (fig. 2) connected by a bar 6, Poarvae of hooks 9 and the end frames 7 of the two bellows are provided with rollers 8 (or simple tenons) leaning against these hooks. The two hooks 9 are connected by joints 11 to the tie rods '5 and one of the hooks is articulated at the end of the' connection bar, 6, while the other end of this bar forms a fork 12 capable of coming in taken with an te- non 10 'da hook 9 of the other wagon.
In the folded position of the bellows, the frames 7 are locked by latches 14 while the rollers 8 are engaged in the hooks 9. After disengaging the latches 14, the bar 6 is brought into engagement with the fork 12. with the tenon 10 'da hook 9. The connection bar 6 is lowered by pressing on a handle 13 and the hooks 9 are thus brought from the position of FIG. 1 to that shown in fig. 2. Then we can push outwards the frames 7 of the bellows, the rollers 8 disregarding the brackets 3 and bringing the

called soafflets. We then reunite the two frames inside one another.
In the uncoupling, the rollers 8 are rolled in the hooks 9 and the latter are brought into the position of FIG. 1 under the action of the weight of the bellows. The fork 12 of the connection bar 6 can then be released da tenon 10 '.
If one has to couple a wagon provided with such a suspension daspo- si.tif with a wagon comprising the asael suspension device, the roller 4 is released from the position visible in FIG. l, while the roller 8 remains in the hook 9.
The invention can aassi be atilisée on wagons not comprising fine brackets 3, a roller 4 and a tie rod.
