JANTE POUR VOITURES D'ENFANTS,TROTTINETTES ET CYCLES.
La présente invention a pour objet une jante métalli- que pour voitures d'enfants,trottinettes et cycles spéciale ment destinée à recevoir un pneu plein de trente millimètres de diamètre de section,ou environ.
Cette jante se distingue des modèles connus en ce (qu'elle est renforcée par une côte centrale,profilée vers le creux de la jante et non plus extérieurement,de telle sorte que le pneu ne peut venir en contact avec les écrous des rayons. En outre les bords de la jante sont repliés vers l'extérieur,ce qui supprime la brasure ou soudure du bourrelet,tout en assurant la rigidité de la jante et la bonne conservation du pneu.
Le dessin annexé à ce mémoire montre à titre d'ex&mple, une forme d'exécution de cette jante.
Fig.I est une vue en 'élévation de profil.

Comme le montre le dessin,la jante I,en métal d'épaisseur convenable,présente une cote centrale 2 profilée vers le creux de la jante.(Fig.3).Les trous 3 desrayons sont percés de part et d'autre de la cote 3, de telle sorte que les écrous 4 fixant les rayons sont enclavés à l'intérieur de la jante,et par suite ne peuvent détériorer le pneu 5.
D'autre part,la jante forme des bourrelets extérieurs 6,ce qui permet de supprimer.la brasure ou soudure ordinairement né- oessaire lorsque les bourrelets sont dispésés intérieurement.Cet- te dernière disposition donne.à la jante toute la solidité néces- saire et assure la bonne conservation du pneu.
Il est bien évident que l'on pourrait profiler le même ma- nière des jantes. de vélos,etc.de dimensions ordinaires.

The present invention relates to a metallic rim for baby carriages, scooters and cycles specially intended to receive a solid tire with a cross-section diameter of thirty millimeters, or approximately.
This rim differs from known models in that (it is reinforced by a central rib, profiled towards the hollow of the rim and no longer on the outside, so that the tire cannot come into contact with the nipples of the spokes. In addition, the edges of the rim are folded outwards, which eliminates the brazing or welding of the bead, while ensuring the rigidity of the rim and the good conservation of the tire.

As shown in the drawing, rim I, made of metal of suitable thickness, has a central dimension 2 profiled towards the hollow of the rim (Fig. 3). The holes 3 of the spokes are drilled on either side of the dimension 3, so that the nuts 4 fixing the spokes are locked inside the rim, and therefore cannot damage the tire 5.
On the other hand, the rim forms external beads 6, which makes it possible to eliminate the brazing or soldering ordinarily necessary when the beads are scattered internally. This last arrangement gives the rim all the necessary strength. and ensures the good conservation of the tire.
It is obvious that we could profile the rims in the same way. bicycles, etc. of ordinary dimensions.
