Abstract
De huidige uitvinding heeft betrekking op een werkwijze voor het coaten van schroefdraadcomponenten omvattende volgende sequentiële stappen: het voorbewerken van schroefdraadcomponenten, het aanbrengen van een veelheid schroefdraadcomponenten in een geperforeerde korf, het onderdompelen van de korf in een coatingbad, het centrifugeren van de korf na extractie uit het coatingbad, het leeggieten van de korf op een transportband, en het transporteren van de componenten doorheen een oven, waarbij de aangebrachte coating kan bestaan uit een zink-flake coating of een organische coating. In het bijzonder zal het contactoppervlak tussen de schroefdraadcomponenten en de binnenwand van de korf geminimaliseerd worden middels het gebruik van een dubbele wand. De uitvinding heeft eveneens betrekking op een inrichting voor het coaten van schroefdraadcomponenten omvattende: een geperforeerde korf, en een hangbaan voorzien van een ophangelement, roteerbaar gekoppeld aan de korf, waarin één of meer te behandelen componenten geladen kunnen worden.
