Abstract

In een eerste aspect heeft de onderhavige uitvinding betrekking op een koelinstallatie (10) voor het koelen van een aardappelproduct, bevattende: (i) een transportsysteem (30) voor het transporteren van het aardappelproduct door de koelinstallatie (10), (ii) een koelsysteem (20) voor het leiden van een koelgas over het aardappelproduct, en (iii) een UV-systeem (50) voor het steriliseren van het koelgas en/of het transportsysteem (30).
