De plus en plus d'automobilistes sont d'avantage à l'écoute de leur autoradio qu'attentifs aux signaux sonores émis par les services d'intervention d'urgence en opération (pompiers, ambulances, véhicule de police, sécurité civile, etc.) ainsi qu'aux événements et danger de la route.
Les conséquences qui en découlent sont bien évidemment connues et peuvent largement dépasser le stade d'un simple retard d'intervention et souvent dramatique dans le cas des passages à niveau.
Ce problème, nous l'avions appréhendé depuis un certain temps et après études et recherches nous avons mis au point un système technique assez simple qui apporte une réelle solution sans vous obliger à recourir à une augmentation du niveau sonore des sirènes et autres avertisseurs d'urgence et qui dans le cas des passages à niveau sans pouvoir tout résoudre apporte déjà une grande sécurité et surtout une prévoyance accrue.
Ce système appelé M.O.R (c) (Mute On Request), repose sur l'interruption momentanée du son (radio/ CD/ GPS/Mains libres) dans les véhicules des automobilistes à l'approche d'un véhicule d'urgence actionnant sa sirène ou à l'activation de l'abaissement des barrières d'un passage à niveau ou la mise en action des signaux signalant le passage d'un train.
Basé sur le principe du Mute, tout système autoradio/ CD,etc. captant un signal spécifique sur une fréquence particulière en provenance d' une sirène en action et dans un rayon paramétrable se met en situation de réception d'un message silence ou personnalisé, ce message prenant la main sur le son réceptionné auparavant.
Lors de l'éloignement du véhicule d'urgence dudit rayon d'émission, ou la fin de l'abaissement des barrières les appareils autoradio/CD,etc. se remettent automatiquement en fonction normale.
