Abstract
The anatomical bridle for a horse has a doubled leather strap with an anatomical cut out for the ears. It has two slots for passage of the nose strap over the head of the horse. The slots allow the nose strap to be spaced from the head to reduce pressure on the cervical vertebrae (8,9). The anatomical cut out prevents damage to the ear cartilage and does not restrict blood supply to the ear muscles.

DESCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION
The anatomical comfort headrest The invention relates to a device for anatomical positioning and comfort of the headrest (1) on the neck of a horse.
The strong compressions exerted on the nape by the headrest (1) and the top of head (3) of the noseband (5) of a classic bridle, are increased by the pulls of the bit on the uprights (6) and especially the adjustment of the noseband (5) on the chamfer (tightening) achieving compression effects at the nape of the neck, base of the ears.
Seat of the spinal bulb, internal auditory canal.
These circulatory, muscular and nervous compressions disrupt the functioning of the inner ear, balance, proprioception.
It follows: locomotion, behavioral disorders (mouth, head defenses.), Sense organs of unsuspected headaches Indeed, the movements of the base of the neck of a horse, are the bending and rotation which combine for the lateral position.
The axes of these two movements are distinct, the rotation taking place between the first and the second vertebra (Atlas (8) - Axis (9)), while the flexion takes place between the occiput (10) and the atlas (8).
Any traction effect on the headrest (1), force on the occiput joint (10) - atlas (8) and causes painful compaction of the cervical vertebrae.
To be effective and not traumatic, it is necessary to increase the width in an anatomical way to decrease the pressures.
In addition our system passes the top of the head (3) of the noseband (5) which is always narrow (14mm) over the headrest (1) which allows to greatly reduce the pressure at the cervical level.
The flexion and rotation movements of the horse's head are carried out around two distinct axes.
The flexion movements represented by the arrow (11) result from the rotation of the Occiput (10) on the first cervical vertebra or Atlas (8) around a theoretical axis (12), while the rotational movements represented by the arrow (13) result from the rotation of the Atlas (8) on the second cervical vertebra or Axis (9) around a theoretical axis (14).
Our system guarantees the horse against harmful compressions which are exerted by the classic bridles at the level of the headrest.
The anatomical shape (4): Avoids the shearing of the cartilages of the ears, Promotes the venous return of the thirteen muscles which surround each ear.
Prevents crushing of the internal auditory canal. Avoids the "tourniquet" effect on the area of the spinal bulb (spinal cord) without bone protection at this point and on the motor muscles of the head.
The harmful compression effect increases by adjusting, tightening the noseband (5) on the chamfer and by the tension of the jaw (7) on the uprights (6).
The use of mouthpieces (7) called "lever arms" by pulling on the uprights (6) also intensifies the painful compressions of the base of the skull.
Our system moves back on the first cervical (atlas (8)) part of the pressures which until then were imposed on the sole base of the ears.
