Abstract

The protection against flooding consists of a screen made of a durable and flexible material that has been attached in foundations made for the purpose, with watertight junctions. The screen is positioned using guide pieces on the sides or at the back. The screen can be hidden away in the special concrete trenches that have been dug out. These are closed with a lid that is at the same level as the ground. The distinguishing feature is the simplicity of putting the screen up and its high effectiveness, as well as its invisibility when stored away. This screen is made especially for potential flood situations. The sewers can if necessary be fitted with a non-return valve for the water.

Shielding against flooding. for all or part of the sleeve. in waterproof material.

The protection against flooding, for the whole house or part of it, in waterproof material can be carried out in different systems. These Systems are intended to protect the protected building from flooding in the event of flooding.

In the event of a threat of flooding, the system can be set up quite easily. After the threat, the system is stored in a concreted foundation provided for this purpose in the ground. Each system is located in a concreted foundation, which is fitted with a waterproofing mechanism made of existing materials. A first system works as follows: the system is built from the ground in which a foundation (ditch at a depth to be determined, depending on the soil condition) is cast from waterproof concrete, which at the same time provides for the anchoring of the waterproof screen.

The covers of this anchor serve to keep the anchored part of the screen watertight (by sealing rubbers). The screen is set up as follows: the covers are removed and the screen (which is pushed up on the wall with waterproof conductors) is pulled up to the intended height. The awning is anchored to the hooks provided for this purpose. The system is closed again with the covers, which make the entire system watertight. The second system involves approximately the same operation as system one.

A screen (in the concreted waterproof foundation provided for this purpose), placed around a building, is pulled up to the intended height and anchored in the provided hooks in the wall.

A third system, to protect the house and domain from flooding, includes a system in which support poles are driven out of the ground by means of electric motors or a hydrolically operating system, connected to an emergency group, which are placed in the aforementioned

see watertight foundations, which are placed behind the foundation of the screen. The screen is arranged in such a way that when the piles are driven upwards, they automatically pull up the screen by the attachment. Upon further case-by-case examination, it will be assessed whether the sewers connected to the building should be fitted with a water non-return valve (according to existing techniques). The entire systems are made from existing materials.

The novelty of the Systems consists in assembling existing or modified materials into a water-retaining system in the event of flooding.

Conclusion The protection against flooding, for the entire house or part of it, in waterproof material, is composed of existing materials. The invention is characterized by the special way in which the existing parts are assembled. Furthermore, it is characterized by the specially designed screen. that, during rest, it is stored invisibly in the provided trench or foundation, which is then closed off. One of the biggest features will certainly be the simple setup and the great effectiveness of this screen (system).
