Als voorbeeld, zonder enig begrenzend karakter, volgt hierna een beschrijving van een verkozen uitvoeringsvorm van de ophanginrichting volgens de uitvinding. Deze beschrijving verwijst naar bijgevoegde tekeningen, waarin : fig. 1 een aanzicht op de smalle flens van een ophangconsole weergeeft ; fig. 2 een aanzicht op de brede flens van een ophangconsole weergeeft ;

<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

SUSPENSION FOR HEATING RADIATORS ATTACHED TO A WALL OR WALL.
The invention relates to an effective suspension device for heating radiators to be mounted on a wall or wall.
Heating devices for heating radiators are known, which mainly consist of two or more brackets which are mounted vertically on a wall or wall, each bracket comprising a fixed hook-in element and a hook-in element which can be moved in the console, the latter element being connected by a spring to the fixed hook-in element is movable, between which hooking elements the clamping parts of the radiator are clamped.
However, these known suspension devices are not very efficient and are not completely reliable for hanging and fixing heating radiators.
To remedy this, according to the main feature of the invention a suspension device has been realized as described in the following claim 1 of this patent application, with which device it is possible to fix a heating radiator on a wall or wall in an effective, simple and reliable manner, without the radiator may come loose from the suspension device through an ill-considered movement.
As an example, without any limiting character, hereinafter follows a description of a preferred embodiment of the suspension device according to the invention. This description refers to attached drawings, in which: Fig. 1 shows a view of the narrow flange of a suspension console; Fig. 2 shows a view of the wide flange of a suspension console;

fig. 6 represents a vertical section according to the line VI-VI of fig. 3; Fig. 7 represents a rear view of the sliding element; Fig. 8 shows the sliding element mounted in the lower part of a suspension console;
Fig. 9 shows a side view of how the radiator is mounted on one of the suspension brackets; Fig. 10 shows a top view of one of the suspension brackets, along the line X-X of Fig. 9.
Figures 1 and 2 show a console 1, two of which are mounted on a wall or wall for hanging a radiator. Each console has a narrow flange 2 and a wide flange 3. Depending on whether the distance between the radiator to be suspended and the wall must be large or small, the smallest or largest flange is fixed to the wall. For this purpose, each flange is provided with two elongated screw holes 4 which lead to a larger opening in the form of a screw head. As a result, after the screws 5 (fig. 9) have been screwed into the wall so that a sufficient distance remains between the screw heads and the wall, each console can be fixed to the wall at the desired height by screwing on the screws 5.
In the upper end of each flange 2-3, a recess 6 with a semicircular end is provided in which a gripping block 7 of a suitable material is rotatably mounted under preferably 100 and in which a mounting part such as a bracket 8 which is mounted on the rear surface of the radiator 9 is attached, it can be swiveled to fix the radiator to the console 1 that is associated with it (fig. 9). This allows the radiator to be hung without deformations. In the lower part of each flange 2-3 of each console 1, two mutually arranged guide means such as guide openings 10 are provided. Each opening has a widened portion 11 and a stop 12. Also, each flange has a stop 13 and a tooth 14. A sliding element 15 is arranged in the guide openings 10.
This sliding element has three guide means, such as guide edges 16, which are free with a little play

engaging flange and ensuring perfect rectilinear guidance of the sliding element. An opening 17 with tooth 18 is provided in the sliding element 15 and a compression spring 19 is arranged between said tooth 18 and the tooth 14 of the flange of the console, so that the spring is perfectly centered and guided, so that the sliding element is pressed down in the guide openings 10. The sliding element 15 is wide such that its front edge lies in a vertical plane before the pivot point in the gripping block 7.
The lower end of the sliding element 15 is provided with an engaging means such as an inclined surface 20 of preferably 37 and a clamping means such as a groove 21 with which a fixing part such as a bracket 22 mounted on the lower part of the rear of the radiator 9 cooperates. To install each sliding element 15 in the console, insert the guide edges 16 of the sliding element into the widened portion 11 of the guide openings 10 of the console, move the sliding element sideways and press it down into the narrowest part of the guide openings so that the guide edges 16 of the sliding element 15 engage over the flange of the console. The compression spring 19 keeps the sliding element in its lowest position.
By slightly bending the stop 13, the movement of the sliding element 15 is limited in its highest position and this element cannot fall out of the flange of the console, which also prevents undesired lifting of the radiator. When the radiator 9 is hooked into the gripping block 7 and is swung towards the wall, each lower bracket 22 of the radiator will press on the sloping surface 20 of the sliding element 15 cooperating therewith so that it is displaced rectilinearly upwards in the guide openings 10 of the radiator. console until the bracket engages in the groove 21 and is firmly clamped by the compression spring 19. By screwing a self-tapping screw such as a Parker screw into the opening 23 of the sliding element 15, the sliding element 15 is fixedly attached to the flange of the console, so that the radiator 9 is also effectively attached.
To possibly remove the radiator 9, remove the self-tapping screw in each

sliding element, lift the radiator and the sliding elements 15 to the deformed stops 13 of the consoles and also move the sliding elements laterally to the front until each sliding element rests on the associated stop 12 of the guide opening 10, after which the radiator is lowered back so that the lower brackets 22 of the radiator are released from the grooves 21, after which the radiator can be unhooked from the gripping blocks 7 of the consoles.
It goes without saying that the sloping surface 20 and the groove 21 of each sliding element 15 can be replaced by other means with which the same result can be achieved as described above. It also goes without saying that the dimensions and shape of the parts described above may differ.
