WARENHUIS
Figuur 1 een weggebroken perspectivisch aanzicht van een fractie van een warenhuis volgens de uitvinding ;

<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
eerd.
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
of is daar ter plaatse geheel afwezig.

DEPARTMENT STORE
The invention relates to a department store comprising tubular rods for accommodating translucent panels, such as glass plates.
The object of the invention is to simplify the construction of the department store and to increase its efficiency.
To this end, the rods comprise tubular rod profiles of steel.
Because according to the invention elements are used which are easy to manufacture from simple material, namely steel, these elements are not expensive. They are very strong at a small size, so that they take away little light, which substantially promotes the crop production in the department store.
The invention will be elucidated in the following description with reference to exemplary embodiments with reference to drawings, in which proposals:
Figure 1 is a broken away perspective view of a fraction of a department store according to the invention;
Figures 2 and 3 are a section of detail II and III of figure 1, respectively;
Figures 4 and 5 are perspective views of detail V of figure 1 in disassembled and assembled state, respectively;
Figure 6 is an exploded perspective view of detail II of figure 1;
Figure 7 is an exploded perspective of detail VII of figure 6;
Figure 8 is a variant of figure 3;
Figure 9 is an exploded perspective view of detail IX of Figure 8;
and
Figure 10 is a broken away perspective view of a variant of detail II of figure 1.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The department store 1 comprises a frame of columns 2, parallel trusses 3 and troughs 4 transverse to the trusses 3, supported by the columns 2, and further comprising glass side walls, not shown. The gutters 4 support the roof 5 which comprises regularly spaced parallel rods 6, which are fastened to gutter edges 7 with their lower ends 8 and which are fastened to ridge profiles 10 with their upper ends 9. / or attached to the trusses 3 by means of gutter supports 11, wherein condensation gutters 12 are still present under the gutters 4.
Each channel 4 is made of bent steel sheet, the channel edges 7 being bent downwards and inwards by 1800. These gutters 4 pairs a good moment of resistance to bending to a compact shape that takes away little light.
Each rod 6 consists of a simple tubular, rectangular, steel rod profile 13 and a glass strip profile 14, of which downwardly directed flanges 15 cover the sides of the rod profile 13 and grip around the underside of the rod profile 13. The top side of the rod profile 13 is covered by flanges 16 of the glass strip profile 14, which flanges 16 are connected to the top flanges 17 which have obliquely directed glass pressing edges 18. Glass plates 19 are received between flanges 16 and 17 in an elastic manner, without rattling and thus with little risk of glass breakage. Thanks to the covering of the rod profile 13 by the glass strip profile 14, the rod profile 13 is insulated and the condensation on the rod 6 is greatly reduced, if not avoided.
The glass strip profile 14 is preferably made of light-colored, light-reflecting plastic, which increases the crop production of the department store 1.
The compact shape with a high moment of resistance of the tubular rod profile 13 also contributes to the increase in cultivation production, because the rod 6 removes little light. The roof 5 is nevertheless firmly constructed
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
honored. With the rod 6 a considerable span between ridge profile 10 and gutter 4 can be realized without intermediate purlins. The tubular rod profiles can be rectangular, square, trapezoidal, triangular or otherwise shaped. According to figures 8 and 9, the rod profile 13 consists of a round steel tube and the glass strip profile 14 is adapted thereto and has round engagement flanges 15.
Flanges 16 and 17 are again found there.
The gutter edges 7 have from place to place where rods 6 are to be mounted, prior to converting punched openings 20 into the downward edges 21, while the opposite gutter 54 remains closed. The rod 6 has a recessed transverse slot 23 at its lower end 8 for receiving a gutter edge 7. Before mounting, a fastening member 24 of plastic is inserted into the rod profile 13, in which a nut 25 or a screw hole is present. After the rod 6 has been placed on the gutter edge 7, a screw 26 is tightened, so that the end thereof protrudes through the opening 20 for locking the rod 6 on the gutter edge 7. The fixing member 24 has lateral stops 27 with which it can be the end face 22 of the rod 6 bounces to adjust its insertion depth.
In the assembled state, a locking piece 28 of the fastening member 24 engages behind the gutter edge 7.
The top ends 9 of the rods 6 are attached according to figure 6 to a cam profile 10, which has a bolt head chamber 29 for receiving the head 30 of a bolt 31. The cam profile 10 has two top flanges 32 and two bottom flanges 33, which slope downwards. and between which glass plates 19 are received, as well as a window hinge flange 34. The bolt 31 protrudes through a plastic support member 35, which at its top is provided with flanges 36 separating the aluminum ridge profile 10 from the steel rod profile 13, thereby avoiding strong rusting. The glass strip profile 14 of the rod 6 has a recess at the location of the flanges 32,33
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
or is completely absent there on the spot.
A clamping piece 37 grips with holes 38 in holes 39 of rod profiles 13 and by means of a nut 40 and bolt 31 firmly clamp the top ends 9 to the cam profile 10 which has a small height.
In the variant of Figure 10, there are two plastic support members 41 per mounting location, each of which is provided with lateral engaging elements 42 which grip the rod profiles 13 with elastic clamping force and are easy to insert therein thanks to oblique search surfaces 43. The rods 6 become preferably provided with support members 41 and the glass strip profiles 14 in advance. When attaching figure 10, the rods 6 can easily be inserted from the side to under the ridge profile 10 and above the clamping piece 37, after which the clamping piece 37 firmly tightens the top ends 9 of the rods 6 by tightening the nut 40.
According to Figures 3 and 5, a hollow gutter edge profile 45 of plastic with a hook edge 44 snaps under the downward edge 21 of the bent gutter edge 9, while a lip 46 on the outside of the gutter 4 smoothly connects to the gutter edge 7, such that condensation 47 according to arrows 48 it is easily guided from the glass plate 19 along the channel edge profile 45 and in particular the lip 46 thereof, along the outside of the channel 4 into the condensation channel 12. This channel edge profile 45 further has a top piece 50 for elastically accommodating a glass plate 19 therein.
According to figure 8, the steel gutter 4 has a flanged gutter edge 7 in the form of an inward bead edge. The locking piece 28 of the fastening member 24 and the lip 46 and the hook flange 44 of the gutter edge profile 45 are adapted thereto. In this case, the bolt 26 engages under the gutter edge 7, which is designed as a beaded edge.
