Abstract

On décrit un câble électrique clos destiné au transport d'énergie électrique sous haute tension en lignes aériennes, comportant au moins une couche extérieure (11) constituée par des éléments (13) ayant une section affectant globalement la forme d'un S ou d'un Z enroulés hélicoïdalement sur un noyau (3) de manière à s'imbriquer les uns dans les autres, caractérisé en ce que, dans un plan de coupe transversal au câble, les arêtes de transition entre l'extrados essentiellement circulaire de l'élément en forme de S ou de Z et les plans radiaux limitant ledit extrados dans ledit plan de coupe sont arrondies par un rayon de courbure dont le rapport au diamètre du câble fini est compris entre 1.10-2 et 6.10-2.
