- la figure 1 est une vue latérale d'un moyeu de roue selon l'invention, dans la direction de l'axe de celui-ci ;
- la figure 2 est une vue en direction de la flèche II de la figure 1 ;
- la figure 3 est une vue en direction de la flèche III de la figure 1 ;
- la figure 4 est une vue similaire à celle de la figure 2 d'un moyeu pourvu de moyens anti-rotation des rayons ;
- la figure 5 représente un rayon adapté pour être utilisé pour le moyeu selon la figure 4 ;
- la figure 6 est une vue dans la direction axiale du rayon de la figure 5 ;

"Wheel hub for spoke wheel"
The invention relates to a wheel hub for a spoke wheel, each of which is anchored at one end to the hub by passing a hole drilled in a hub blank at the periphery thereof, using a stop element. axial forming a head and projecting radially from the advantageously cylindrical body of the spoke.
In known wheel hubs of this type, the spoke holes extend substantially parallel to the axis of the hub. This has the drawback that the spokes are bent in their portion for anchoring to the hub. This conformation of the spokes makes them fragile and makes it tedious to replace broken spokes.
The present invention aims to overcome these drawbacks without requiring for the production of this complicated and expensive machining hub.
To achieve this goal, each hub blank according to the invention has at its periphery radial projections forming a block, each of which is traversed by a hole which extends substantially perpendicular to the axis of the hub and merges with the axis of the spoke. passing through it, the radius being
-rectilinear at the hub.
According to an advantageous characteristic of the invention, each block of the hub has two parallel holes each accommodating a spoke, these spokes being oriented in opposite directions.
According to yet another characteristic of the invention, the head for anchoring or axial abutment of a spoke has a flattened peripheral part coming to bear on a face of complementary shape of the hub block to prevent rotation of the spoke in its hole hub.
The invention will be better understood and other objects, characteristics, details and advantages thereof will appear more clearly during the explanatory description which follows, made with reference to the appended schematic drawings given solely by way of example illustrating a mode of the invention and in which:
- Figure 1 is a side view of a wheel hub according to the invention, in the direction of the axis thereof;
- Figure 2 is a view in the direction of arrow II in Figure 1;
- Figure 3 is a view in the direction of arrow III in Figure 1;
- Figure 4 is a view similar to that of Figure 2 of a hub provided with anti-rotation means of the spokes;
- Figure 5 shows a radius adapted to be used for the hub according to Figure 4;
- Figure 6 is a view in the axial direction of the radius of Figure 5;
- Figure 7 is a view towards arrow VII of Figure 4; - Figure 8 is a view similar to that of Figure 2, of a hub block according to the invention, provided with anti-rotation means of the spokes; and
FIGS. 9 and 10 are views along arrows IX and X respectively of FIG. 8.
As can be seen from FIG. 1, a hub flank 1 according to the present invention comprises, regularly distributed all around its periphery, radial projections 2 giving the hub flank a star profile. Each radial projection forms an anchoring block of two spokes 3, which extend parallel, but in opposite directions, and each pass through a hole 4 drilled through the radial orientation block 2 of the hub flank 1, substantially perpendicularly to the hub axis. As also shown in FIG. 2, each spoke 3 has at its end an anchoring head 5 forming an axial stop of the spoke and whose diameter is greater than the passage hole 4 of the spokes, made in the block 2. Each spoke is straight at the hub flank.
To prevent rotation of the spokes 3 in their anchoring holes or bores 4, the anchoring head element 5 of a spoke has a flattened peripheral part, shaped as shown, which rests on a complementary surface 7 provided on the corresponding block 2 of the hub. In the embodiment of the anti-rotation means, shown in Figures 4 and 7, the block 2 has for this purpose at its substantially radial side faces 8 (Figure 1) a projecting element in the form of a bar 9 which s' extends between the two holes 4 of the block. The adjacent surfaces of the holes 4 then constitute the faces 7 for blocking in the angular position of the spokes 3.
In embodiment 8 to 10 of the anti-rotation means of the spokes, recesses 10 have been made in a block 2 for anchoring the spokes, at each anchoring head 5 of a spoke 3, one face of which constitutes the face 7 for blocking the angular position of the spoke.
It is clear from the above and from the figures, that a hub flank according to the invention, because of its star configuration, allows threading through the hub holes, perpendicular to the axis thereof. The design according to the invention, of a hub allows the use of non-bent spokes, therefore more solid, and this without the need for complicated and costly machining for its realization. If still a spoke is broken, its replacement would be very easy to implement, without the need to disassemble the wheel.
Of course, various modifications can be made to the hub according to the invention, without however departing from the scope thereof.
