Betonmengsel en betonprodukten hierdoor bekomen.
EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>

Concrete mix and concrete products are obtained as a result.
EMI1.1
------------------------------------------------ This invention relates to a concrete mixture and the concrete products obtained by it, and more specifically to the use of a number of special components in concrete.
The object of the invention is a concrete mixture in which this concrete exhibits better insulating properties, both thermally and acoustically, compared to known concrete types and, moreover, is also shock absorbing.
This concrete can be used universally, in other words both in new load-bearing structures, as well as in existing structures to carry out repairs, as well as in the manufacture of prefabricated elements and the like. When such concrete is used in load-bearing structures, the vibration absorption is especially important, while when it is used in ceilings and walls, it is more fire-resistant
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
and acoustic insulation is obtained between living areas above and next to each other, respectively.
The concrete mixture according to the invention is also suitable for carrying out repair work on existing concrete structures, whereby the mixture can be used very effectively as so-called shotcrete.
The invention also has the object of a substitute for asbestos cement, which has substantially the same characteristics as the latter, but which excludes the use of environmentally unfriendly components such as asbestos fibers.
The invention also has the object of a raw material for the production of insulating panels, in particular thermal and acoustic panels, which are considerably cheaper than the known insulating panels and have a number of additional advantageous features.
Thermal and acoustic insulation panels are known to be widely used. These panels are usually manufactured from plastic and may or may not consist of several layers. These insulating panels have the disadvantage that they have a high cost price, on the one hand because of the high cost price of plastic, and on the other hand because of the required costly manufacturing method. It is
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
it is clear that there is also a demand for cheap insulation panels.
One of the objects of the present invention is to answer this question by providing a cheap and, moreover, asbestos-free raw material, with which inexpensive insulation panels and other products can be manufactured.
To this end use is made of the aforementioned insulating concrete mixture, with the property that the panels manufactured therewith have not only the advantage over the known thermal and acoustic insulation panels that they are inexpensive, but also have good properties with regard to the watertightness, the fire-resistant effect and long service life.
The concrete mixture according to the invention can be used as a fire-resistant product both in the form of shotcrete and in the form of concrete fire-resistant panels.
It is clear that the concrete mixture according to the invention can also be used for decorative purposes.
The present invention also aims to provide a solution for the processing of husks and / or pods and / or the like of vegetable crops, more particularly of rice husks. After all, it is known that at the annual
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
world production of rice several million tons of rice husks are produced, these rice husks being a residual product with little or no application. Moreover, such rice husks are difficult to burn due to their high combustion temperature.
The present invention provides a concrete mixture for this purpose, characterized in that the mixture contains residues of a vegetable crop or vegetable crops, respectively.
The aforementioned residues preferably consist of husks and / or pods and / or the like of vegetable crops. In the most preferred embodiment, these residues are formed by the non-comminuted sleeves of the cereal grain.
Naturally, the aforementioned vegetable residues may also consist of the husks of cereals and / or the husks of legumes and / or the bran of cereals.
The aforementioned cereal or cereal crops are primarily thought of rice, but of course other cereals such as wheat, rye, oats, barley, etc. are also eligible. Depending on the cost and availability of the husks of such cereals
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
it is clear that different combinations of such products can be used in the concrete mixture.
Finally, it is noted that the most optimal concrete mixture is achieved by 0.5 to 1.5 m3 of hulls and the like per
Add 400 kg of cement to the concrete. In the most preferred embodiment, 1 m3 of rice husks or the like is used per 400 kg of cement or binder.
According to a variant of the invention, in addition to the vegetable residues, neither one or more synthetic resins are added to the mixture, for example in granular form. Preferably, an epoxy resin is used for this.
It is clear that the term "concrete mixture" is to be understood here very broadly, and that it refers to mixtures based on cement as well as concrete mixtures based on another binder, such as lime. It is also clear that the concrete mixture may or may not contain stones and can be used, for example, in a load-bearing construction, but also for realizing a coating on a floor covering. The concrete mixture may or may not be reinforced when it is used, for example d. incl. rebar, metal needles, plastic needles or plastic rods.
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
Naturally, the invention also relates to products, in particular concrete products, which are manufactured on the basis of the aforementioned concrete mixture.
The present invention is by no means limited to the embodiments described as examples, but such a concrete mixture can be realized in various variants without departing from the scope of the invention.
