Abstract

The device as described comprises a metering apparatus for measuring or displaying the optimum quantity of insuline. With this device it is possible to measure one or several levels of sugar in the blood, to compare these levels with the prescribed levels and correspondingly control the metering apparatus or the display. In addition, the inputted measurement values and also the insuline quantities administered are, after storage over a certain period, compared with one another and/or evaluated by a computer.
