Invention Title: "Inner Tub of a Washing Machine" The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to us: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION This invention relates to an inner tub of a washing machine, and more particularly to the inner tub of the washing machine capable of having uniform rubbing effect between the upper part and the lower part thereof.
As 'shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, a conventional inner tub of a washing machine(Japanese patent laid open No.4-19789) is arranged inside of a washing machine case as a combined washing and drying tub(hereinafter called "inner tub") 1 made of stainless steel.
.110 The inner tub 1 includes a ring la for mounting a fulid balance thereon in the upper part, a cylindrical body Ib forming body part and a bottom plate Ic forming the lower part. On the internal surface of the body Ib of the inner tub 1, embossings 2 of same size project facing inside throughout the 1 height of the inner tub 1. A pulsator 3 is rotatingly provided on the bottom plate Ic.
Washing is effectuated by the rubbing effect between laundries, laundries and the pulsator 3, and laundries and embossings 2 when the pulsator 3 is rotated reversingly by a motor(not shown) generating turbulent pulsation of washing water and laundries.
In such a conventional washing machine, however, there has 1A
-N
-2been a problem of un-uniform washing due to the un-uniform rubbing effect between the upper part and the lower part of the inner tub 1 during washing. This is because of the existence of the direct rubbing of the pulsator 3 with laundries, rubbing between laundries caused by the turbulent pulsation of washing water generated by the pulsator 3, and rubbing between laundries and embossings 2 projected facing inside on the internal surface of the inner tub 1, in the lower part of the inner tub 1 compared to the non-existence of direct rubbing by the pulsator 3 and the weaker rubbing between laundries, and the embossings 2 and laundries, in the upper part of the inner tub 1. In short, in the conventional washing machine, the uniform washing effect and the uniform wearing rate of laundries can hardly be expected due to the un-uniform rubbing effect between the upper part and the lower part of the inner tub 1.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide an inner tub of a washing 15 machine capable of having uniform rubbing effect.
This object is achieved by an inner tub of a washing machine comprising: a body having a plurality of embossings on the cylindrical internal surface of said CIE body, the plurality of embossings formed in a manner that rubbing effects between laundries and the plurality of embossings are gradually decreased from the top to the S 20 bottom of the inner tub; and a bottom plate attached under said body closing the bottom of the inner tub, said bottom plate including a pulsator.
