Abstract

A delicatessen container for perishable goods has a lid (1) with a stepped edge (10) comprising a covering surface (11) and a supporting surface (12) which rests against the lateral wall (15) of the special container. The lid (1) is in itself resistant to bending and its covering surface (11) is provided with a sealing element (2). The lid is further provided with a valve (4).
