[Marine Apparatus Protection System The following statement is a full description of this invention, including its intended purpose, function and uses known to me.

3. Identification is a dual part system, one that is visible and the other concealed, but detectable.
4. All customer, and product, and applied identification information are recorded on computer.( photos are optional) S" 5.The information collected is used to help protect property, deter the act of theft, assist law enforcement in prosecution, detection of stolen property before sale.
6.The application of the identification can be done in many ways, ie; stamping, engraving, ink: infa-red and permanent marker, computer/ silicone/ micro chip, •labelling, enhancement and disfigurement..
7. Should an item be to small to apply two identification, then the customer can nominate an application, either visible or concealed.
8. The value of an item to have identification applied will be the judgement of the "customer.
9.A "Duty of Care" will be part of an agreement between the customer and M.A.P.S..

The invention is an identification system that is physically applied to almost all forms of implements, tools, tackle and apparatus that can or is employed within all facets of the Fishing Industry.
11. Each identification is personalised and consists of alphabetical, numerical, or symbolic characters: or a combination of characters, which when applied create an i identification" Mark".
.0 12. The identification mark is a series of: numerical, alphabetical, symbolic or S.combination of, and form a whole or complete unit which can only be reproduced for :00. addition or subtraction of information concerning identity of the current owner and his duty of care.
'00:0.13.The Mark is primarily intended to be ofa none or distracted visual nature, accept o ":"where an obvious identification would serve as a deterrent, rather than wait to expose after the event.

Discretion on the size of the implements, tools, tackle and apparatus: (which shall S.be known as "items" from herein is reserved by the inventor and any person 00 ~authorised to make or apply a Mark" 15. The Mark is applied by way of, stencilling, infra red ink, inks, stamping: metal or other materials, micro chip, engraving, labelling, paints, enhancement or disfigurement, which is to be applicable to an item, not contentious or desire.
16. M.A.P.S. then records all the information between the owner, item and the Mark.
17. M.A.P.S. also reserves the rights to apply a MARK to any other ITEM so chosen by the owner of an ITEM, such as is not stated, but considered viable to the owner.
18. M.A.P.S. will make available a list to authorities of a basically consistent positions where a MARK can be located on a common ITEMS, that will not be classed as Visually Assisted which is to assist with minimising the amount of time required to execute a check. This is also necessary for in the infancy stages of operations.

19.Each ITEM that has been M.A.P.S. MARKED will be identifiable by means of the letters M.M.
M.A.P.S. becomes a third party to ownership.
M.A.P.S. will use some of the readily available tools and equipment to help carry out its objective, however some equipment may need to be specially designed and therefore will become apart of this invention.
