Abstract
The invention concerns a process and a device for surveying and marking on distant lines or surfaces, or in at least partially enclosed spaces. This involves measuring the lines, surfaces or spaces by recording one or more relevant points (2), in each case from two angles, and recording the distance from a reference point (3), using a gimbal-mounted laser distance-measuring device (6). The measurements are stored in an evaluation device (12) and used to construct an idealisable mathematical model of the recorded line, surface or space. The recorded measurements are then used to determine the location in the mathematical model of one or more desired marker points (5) which are marked from the reference point (3) on the recorded lines or surfaces using the laser beam (4).
