Abstract
Use, for the preparation of an implantable membrane based on poly(lactic acid) intended to enhance the regeneration of the periodontal tissue and/or the maxillae according to the technique of guided tissue regeneration, of a mixture of a first amorphous poly(lactic acid) having a molecular mass of at least 20.000 and a second amorphous poly(lactic acid) having a molecular mass not exceeding 5.000, said mixture comprising a proportion of said second poly(lactic acid) to produce a membrane having the desired flexibility at a temperature not exceeding 37 C. Said membrane is bioresorbable and does not cause inflammatory or allergic reactions.
