Abstract

The invention relates to a solid with a porous or duct-like structure which can be accessed from the outside, said structure being designed to store gases inside the pores or ducts whereby the diameter thereof lies in the nm (namometre) range. According to the invention, the solid is made from a ceramic material. The inner walls of the pore and duct system is coated with or made from a material which is adapted to the storage of a gas.
