Abstract
The invention concerns an intraocular implant designed to form an intraocular lens located in the eye capsular bag (1), comprising a first ring-shaped piece (2), made of a flexible and pliable material whereof the outer surface (3) is substantially identical to the capsular bag (1) inner surface in natural state of a young patient in the region of its equator and whereof the inner surface defines a groove (4), such that the ring has in the equatorial region a portion (5) resistant to the radial load bordered on each side by lip-shaped portions (6, 7) facing towards the ring inside, and a second part (9), made of flexible and pliable material, in the shape of a convexo-convex disc bordered on its periphery by a haptic part (11, 13) whereof the end edges are freely inscribed in a circle with diameter not more than the diameter in the groove (4) base.
