Abstract
1. A module for providing a modular flotation installation (A, B, C) and having the form of a prefabricated transportable parallelepiped unit adapted to serve as a work place and as a functional device and to contain a set of industrial equipment (24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30) in operational condition, the module (1) comprising : - a frame (2) reinforced at the levels of lifting points to permit individual transport of the module with the set of equipment which it contains, - four lateral walls (3, 4) consisting of a covering of cladding panels supported by the frame (2), - a floor (5) supported by the frame and connected to the four lateral walls (3, 4), - at least one door (6) mounted in one (3) of the lateral walls, and - at least one window (9, 10) provided in one (4) of the lateral walls, characterised in that the floor is a metallic grating (5) enabling the module to be set up on the ground by resting on a carrying structure (17) or on another module, and in that the module comprises two doors (6) situated and centred in two opposite walls (3) as well as two windows (9, 10) situated and centred in the other two opposite walls (4), and basic equipment comprising : - at least one instrument fixing strip (27) supported by the frame (2) and comprising at least one section (13, 15) extending over tre width of the module, along a small lateral wall (4) and/or at least one section (12, 14) extending over the length of the module, along a large lateral wall (3), - at least one electric circuit supported by a fixing section (14) and comprising at least one switch cabinet (20) connected by distribution cables to flexible connecting members to connectors (21) for connection to an external electrical supply circuit (32) and/or another module (1), and - at least one water supply circuit (22) and/or at least one air supply circuit (23) comprising conduits supported by fixing sections (14, 15) and connected by flexible connecting members (31) to an external supply circuit for water and/or air respectively, and/or to a water (22) and/or air (3) supply circuit of another module (1), the flexible connecting members (31) adapted for the connection of the water (22), air (23) and electric circuits being accessible through openings (11, 11') provided in the vicinity of the four corners of at least two opposite walls (3, 4).
