Abstract

The invention relates to a novel device (1) for dispensing adhesive tape or similar in strips. The device is provided with a receptacle for a roll of adhesive tape (30), at least one feed roller (22; 23) which has a ring groove (48; 51) and a bending roller (47) which works together with the feed roller and has a ring protrusion (52). A first toothed bar (14) which is connected to a lever (8) and which drives the feed roller (22; 23) is also provided, together with a cutting element (33). Said cutting element can be triggered by a second toothed bar (14') which is connected to the lever (8), using a first gear wheel (38). The two toothed bars (14, 14') are provided on both sides of the lever (8). At least one of the toothed bars (14, 14') is also guided in a lower connecting link (20) which is situated in the lower area of the housing (2) and in an upper connecting link (13) which is located on the lever (8), in such a way that the toothed bar (14, 14') indirectly engages with the feed roller (22; 23) and the first gear wheel (38) during the downward movement of the lever (8) and disengages during the upward movement thereof.
