Abstract
The invention concerns a rotary transmission leadthrough for connecting a coolant feed to a roller, particularly for continuous casting plants, the roller being mounted in bearing brackets in roll bearings by means of journals and supplied with coolant via axial bores through the journals. The leadthrough has a housing (1); a rotor (2, 3, 4) rotatively mounted in the housing; a first sealing element (10) which turns with the rotor, is seated on the end of the rotor situated in the housing, and has a first sealing surface; a second sealing element (11) which has a second sealing surface facing the first sealing surface and which is supported by a cover (12) that fits into the housing at the end of the housing facing the interior of the roller, and an axial bore which passes through the rotor and the cover. The one-piece rotor comprises a rotor head (2) with end section which protrudes from the housing at the side of the housing facing away from the interior of the roller, to which rotor head a coolant feed or drain line can be attached, a rotor shaft (3) and a rotor foot (4), the rotor shaft taking the form of an elastic component.
