Description
[00011 This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application No. 202210459247.4
filed on April 27, 2022 and entitled "Sliding seat mechanism, guide device, open wagon and
freight train", the disclosure of which is hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety.
[00021 The disclosure relates to the technical field of freight trains, and in particular to a sliding
seat mechanism, a guide device, an open wagon and a freight train.
[00031 In the last decade or so, in order to prevent the cargoes loaded in freight wagons from
scattering and flying or from being exposed to rain, the open wagons have begun to be covered
with covering curtains.
[00041 The open wagons usually are disposed with two covering curtains on the top, i.e. one
covering curtain at the front end of the top and one covering curtain at the rear end of the top. A
rear end of the front end covering curtain and a front end of the rear end covering curtain are called
docking ends. When the docking end of the front end covering curtain and the docking end of the
rear end covering curtain are brought together toward each other, the open wagon is covered.
When the docking end of the front end covering curtain and the docking end of the rear end
covering curtain are separated away from each other, the open wagon is opened.
[00051 However, in the prior art, the docking ends of the covering curtains can just stay on the
slide rails at the top surfaces of two ends, resulting in incomplete separation of the front end
covering curtain and the rear end covering curtain, which not only affects the loading and
unloading of cargoes, but also makes the covering curtains more susceptible to damage during the
loading and unloading.
[00061 The disclosure provides a sliding seat mechanism, a guide device, an open wagon and a
freight train. By utilizing one or more embodiments of the disclosure, it solves the problem that the
docking ends of the covering curtain can only stay on the slide rails at both ends of the top surface,
resulting in incomplete separation of the front end covering curtain and the rear end covering curtain, which not only affects the loading and unloading of cargoes, but also makes the covering curtains more susceptible to damage during the loading and unloading.
[0007] In an aspect of the disclosure, a sliding seat mechanism is disposed for sliding on a slide
rail. The sliding seat mechanism includes a plurality of slide blocks connected in sequence along
an axial direction of the slide rail. opposite sides of two adjacent slide blocks are each disposed
with rotating portions, and two rotating portions are rotatably connected; the slide blocks are
disposed with a sliding portion therein for slidably fitting with the slide rail; and a notch portion is
disposed on at least one of the opposite sides of the two adjacent slide blocks to form a corner
space.
[00081 In another aspect of the disclosure, a guide device for covering curtains is also provided,
including: a slide rail and a sliding seat mechanism; the slide rail comprises a straight portion and
a curved portion connected to the straight portion; the plurality of slide blocks of the sliding seat
mechanism are slidably disposed on the straight portion and the curved portion, and a first slide
block of the plurality of slide blocks is connected to the covering curtain.
[00091 In another aspect of the disclosure, an open wagon is also provided, including: a wagon
body; two covering curtains, disposed oppositely on a top of the wagon body; and the guide device
for the covering curtain; two slide rails of the guide device are disposed oppositely on the top of
the wagon body; two sliding seat mechanisms of the guide device are respectively disposed at
docking ends of the two covering curtains; and the two sliding seat mechanisms are slidably
disposed on the two slide rails respectively to drive the two covering curtains to be docked or
folded.
[00101 In another aspect of the disclosure, a freight train is also provided, including at least one of
the open wagons.

[00261 The disclosure is described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and
with reference to the embodiments.
[00271 Referring to FIG.1 and FIG. 2, a sliding seat mechanism is provided according to an
embodiment of the disclosure for sliding on a slide rail 1. The sliding seat mechanism 2 includes a
plurality of slide blocks 2-1 connected in sequence along an axial direction of the slide rail 1.
Opposite sides of two adjacent slide blocks 2-1 are each disposed with rotating portions 2-14, and
two rotating portions 2-14 are rotatably connected. The slide block 2-1 is disposed with a sliding
portion therein for slidably fitting with the slide rail 1. A notch portion 2-12 is disposed on at least
one of the opposite sides of the two adjacent slide blocks 2-1 to form a corner space 2-13.
[00281 In some embodiments, since the sliding seat mechanism 2 includes a plurality of slide
blocks 2-1 connected in sequence along the axial direction of the slide rail 1; the opposite sides of
two adjacent slide blocks 2-1 are each disposed with rotating portions 2-14, and the two rotating
portions 2-14 are rotatably connected; the slide block 2-1 is disposed with the sliding portion
therein for slidably fitting with the slide rail 1; and the notch portion 2-12 is disposed on at least
one of the opposite sides of the two adjacent slide blocks 2-1 to form a corner space 2-13,
therefore, when covering curtains 3 are being brought together or folded, the slide block 2-1 slides
on the slide rail 1, and when the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 pass through a curved portion 1-2 of
the slide rail 1, the rotating portions 2-14 of the two adjacent slide blocks 2-1 rotate, and the notch
portion 2-12 of one of the two adjacent slide blocks 2-1 acts in an opposite direction in the corner
space 2-13, so that the slide block 2-1 can pass through the curved portion 1-2 of the slide rail 1. In
this way, when the covering curtains 3 are being folded, the covering curtains 3 can be driven completely away from an end of a top of the wagon body, which can ensure that the covering curtains 3 when folded completely exit the end of the top of the wagon body, thereby avoiding a damage to the covering curtains 3 during loading and unloading cargoes, ensuring a safety of the covering curtains 3, and facilitating the loading and unloading of cargoes.
[0029] In some embodiments, the sliding portion includes a traveling wheel 4 rotatably disposed
and two limiting wheels 5 oppositely disposed. A first mounting space is disposed between the
traveling wheel 4 and the two limiting wheels 5 for mounting the slide rail 1, and/or a second
mounting space is disposed between the two limiting wheels 5 for mounting the slide rail 1.
[00301 In some embodiments, a traveling wheel 4 and two limiting wheels 5 are rotatably disposed
in the slide block 2-1. In this embodiment, the traveling wheel 4 may be mounted in the slide block
2-1 through a rotating shaft, and the two limiting wheels 5 may also be mounted in the sliding
block 2-1 through a rotating shaft. The traveling wheel 4 and the two limiting wheels 5 all abut
against the slide rail 1, so that the traveling wheel 4 and the two limiting wheels 5 can act smoothly
on the sliding rail 1.
[00311 In some embodiments, a spacing distance between the traveling wheel 4 and the two
limiting wheels 5 matches a thickness of a support plate 1-11 to ensure that the slide block 2-1
travels steadily on the slide rail 1.
[0032] In some embodiments, a height of the traveling wheel 4 is greater than a height of the two
limiting wheels 5 to ensure that the slide block 2-1 can act smoothly.
[00331 In some embodiments, there is only one traveling wheel 4 in the slide block 2-1, so that a
single slide block 2-1 has a certain degree of freedom to tilt and rotate on the slide rail 1 around a
contact line between the traveling wheel 4 and the slide rail 1, and therefore the single slide block
2-1 has an ability to pass through the curved portion 1-2 of the slide rail 1.
[0034] In some embodiments, the limiting wheel 5 form a limiting assembly. A first slide block
and a last slide block in the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 each are only disposed with one limiting
assembly, and remaining slide blocks in the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 may be disposed with
several limiting assemblies. The remaining slide blocks in the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 may
also be disposed with only one limiting assembly, so that each slide block 2-1 has the ability to
pass through the curved portion 1-2.
[00351 In some embodiments, a traveling wheel 4 of a first slide block in the plurality of slide
blocks 2-1 is closer to a first end of the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 than a limiting wheel 5 of the first slide block. That is, a spacing distance between the traveling wheel 4 of the first slide block in the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 and the covering curtain 3 is smaller than a spacing distance between the limiting wheel 5 of the first slide block 2-1 in the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 and covering curtain 3, so that when the first slide block 2-1 enters the curved portion 1-2, the traveling wheel 4 of the first slide block 2-1 can travel longer than the limiting wheel 5 of the first slide block 2-1 to adapt to a fact that a length of a top traveling surface 1-21 of the curved portion 1-2 of the slide rail 1 is greater than a length of a bottom limiting surface 1-22 of the curved portion 1-2 of the slide rail 1, and therefore the first slide block along a folding direction is ensured to travel smoothly.
[00361 In some embodiments, a traveling wheel 4 of a last slide block in the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 is closer to a second end of the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 than a limiting wheel 5 of the last slide block. That is, a spacing distance between the traveling wheel 4 of the last slide block in the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 and the covering curtain 3 is larger than a spacing distance between the limiting wheel 5 of the last slide block 2-1 in the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 and covering curtain 3, so that when the last slide block 2-1 enters a straight portion 1-1 along a brought together direction, the traveling wheel 4 of the last slide block 2-1 can travel longer than the limiting wheel 5 of the last slide block 2-1 to adapt to a fact that a length of a top traveling surface 1-21 of the curved portion 1-2 of the slide rail 1 is greater than a length of a bottom limiting surface 1-22 of the curved portion 1-2 of the slide rail 1, and therefore the last slide block along the brought together direction is ensured to travel smoothly.
[0037] In some embodiments, the opposite sides of the two adjacent slide blocks 2-1 are both disposed with flat portions 2-11, and two flat portions 2-11 can abut against one another. The rotating portion 2-14 is disposed between the flat portion 2-11 and the notch portion 2-12.
[00381 In some embodiments, when the covering curtains 3 are being brought together or folded, and the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 pass through the straight portion 1-1 of the slide rail 1, the flat portions 2-11 of the two adjacent slide blocks 2-1 abut against with one another, so that the slide block 2-1 is restricted from tilting and will not tilt, thereby ensuring that the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 act steadily in the straight portion 1-1. When the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 pass through the curved portion 1-2 of the slide rail 1, the rotating portions 2-14 of the two adjacent slide blocks 2-1 rotate to separate the flat portions 2-11 of the two adjacent slide blocks 2-1, making it easier for the slide blocks 2-1 to act on the curved portion 1-2 of the slide rail 1.
[00391 In some embodiments, the flat portion 2-11 is disposed on a top of a side of the slide block
2-1. The rotating portion 2-14 is disposed on a middle portion of a side of the slide block 2-1. The
notch portion 2-12 is disposed on a bottom of a side of the slide block 2-1.
[0040] In some embodiments, the rotating portions 2-14 of the two adjacent slide blocks 2-1 are
hinged through the articulated shaft 2-15 to ensure that when the slide blocks 2-1 pass through the
curved portion 1-2, the two adjacent slide blocks 2-1 can rotate relative to each other.
[0041] In some embodiments, a spacing distance between an end of the notch portion 2-12 facing
the rotating portion 2-14 and another slide block is smaller than a spacing distance between an end
of the notch portion 2-12 facing away from the rotating portion 2-14 and the another slide block, to
form a corner space 2-13 with a narrow top and a wide bottom, so that two adjacent slide blocks
2-1 can rotate downward around the articulated shaft 2-15, thereby ensuring that the plurality of
slide blocks 2-1 can act on the curved portion 1-2.
[0042] In some embodiments, the number of slide blocks 2-1 is three. The plurality of slide blocks
2-1 includes: a first slide block, a second slide block and a third slide block. The second slide block
is disposed between the first slide block and the third slide block. If the second slide block tends to
tilt in the folding direction due to a force subjected, the first slide block inevitably flips upward due
to a manner of hinged connection. Since a flat portion on an end surface of the second slide block
along the folding direction abuts against a flat portion of the adjacent first slide block, the first
slide block cannot flip upward, and thus the second slide block is restricted from tilting in the
folding direction and will not tilt, thereby ensuring that the plurality of slide blocks act steadily on
the straight portion 1-1. If the second slide block tends to tilt in the brought together direction due
to a force subjected, the third slide block inevitably flips upward due to a manner of hinged
connection. Since a flat portion on an end surface of the second slide block along the brought
together direction abuts against a flat portion of the adjacent third slide block, the third slide block
cannot flip upward, and thus the second slide block is restricted from tilting in the brought together
direction and will not tilt, thereby ensuring that the plurality of slide blocks act steadily on the
straight portion 1-1.
[00431 In some embodiments, the notch portion 2-12 may be disposed on the first slide block and
the third slide block. The notch portion 2-12 may also be disposed on the second slide block.
Alternatively, the first slide block, the second slide block and the third slide block may all disposed
with notch portions 2-12 thereon. Therefore, a corner space 2-13 with narrow top and wide bottom is formed, so that the first slide block and the second slide block can rotate downward around the articulated shaft 2-15, thereby ensuring that the first slide block and the second slide block can travel on the curved portion 1-2.
[00441 Referring to FIG. 3, FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, based on the same concept, the disclosure also
proposes a guide device for a covering curtain. The guide device for the covering curtain adopts the sliding seat mechanism. For the structural details of the sliding seat mechanism, reference can be made to the above embodiments. The sliding seat mechanism, since adopting all the technical solutions of all the above-mentioned embodiments, has at least all the advantageous effects brought by the technical solutions of the above-mentioned embodiments, which will not be described again here.
[0045] In some embodiments, the slide rail 1 includes: a straight portion 1-1 and a curved portion
1-2 connected to the straight portion 1-1. The plurality of slide blocks 2-1 of the sliding seat mechanism 2 each may be slidably disposed on the straight portion 1-1 and the curved portion 1-2, and a first slide block of the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 is connected to the covering curtain 3.
[00461 In some embodiments, both the straight portion 1-1 and the curved portion 1-2 include: a support plate 1-11 and a connecting plate 1-12. The support plate 1-11 is fixedly connected to a top of the connecting plate 1-12. A width of the support plate 1-11 is greater than a width of the connecting plate 1-12, so that a cross-sectional shape of the slide rail 1 is T-shaped to support the plurality of slide blocks 2-1. The slide blocks 2-1 can slide on the support plate 1-11.
[0047] In some embodiments, the support plate 1-11 is disposed between the traveling wheel 4 and the two limiting wheels 5. The connecting plate 1-12 is disposed between the two limiting wheels 5. The two limiting wheels 5 limit the slide block 2-1 to prevent the slide block 2-1 from displacing on the support plate 1-11.
[00481 In some embodiments, the guide device further includes a driving mechanism 7. The
driving mechanism 7 includes: a hook 7-1 and a liftable lever 7-2. The hook 7-1 is connected to the slide block 2-1 and can abut against the lever 7-2. In this embodiment, the hook 7-1 is connected to a slide block at middle among the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 to avoid interfering with actions of the first slide block and the last slide block on the curved portion 1-2. In some embodiments, the hook 7-1 is L-shaped.
[0049] In some embodiments, a liftable lever 7-2 is disposed above tracks on site. The hook 7-1 is toggled by the lever 7-2 with a traveling of a wagon body to realize a forward sliding or backward sliding of the covering curtain 3.
[00501 In some embodiments, the hook 7-1 includes: a hooking rod 7-11 and a toggle column
7-12. The hooking rod 7-11 is connected to the slide block 2-1. In this embodiment, the hooking
rod 7-11 extends toward the first slide block among the plurality of slide blocks 2-1. The toggle
column 7-12 is connected to the hooking rod 7-11, and is disposed at an angle with the hooking rod
7-11. In this embodiment, the toggle column 7-12 is at 900 to the hooking rod 7-11. In some
embodiments, the toggle column 7-12 has a rectangular cross section.
[00511 In some embodiments, the toggle column 7-12 includes: a push-couple portion 7-121, a
push-away portion 7-122, and a receiving portion 7-123. A first end of the receiving portion 7-123
is connected to the push-couple portion 7-121, and a second end of the receiving portion 7-123 is
connected to the push-away portion 7-122. A spacing distance between the first end of the
receiving portion and the slide rail 1 is less than a spacing distance between the second end of the
receiving portion 7-123 and the slide rail 1. In this embodiment, the push-couple portion 7-121
faces the covering curtain 3. The push-away portion 7-122 faces away from the covering curtain 3.
The receiving portion 7-123 is at 450 to the push-away portion 7-122 of the toggle column 7-12.
[0052] In some embodiments, an end of the lever 7-2 facing the hooking rod 7-11 is rotatably
disposed with a pulley 7-3, to facilitate the lever 7-2 to gradually slide from the receiving portion
7-123 of the toggle column 7-12 to the push-couple portion 7-121 of the toggle column 7-12.
[00531 In some embodiments, when the covering curtains 3 are to be brought together, the wagon
body 8 acts on the tracks until it reaches the lever 7-2. When a normal line of the slide block at
middle among the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 reaches an angle of 45 degrees with a horizontal
plane, the wagon body 8 stops, so that the receiving portion 7-123 is maintained to be vertical to
the horizontal plane and the liftable lever 7-2 descends. It is convenient for the receiving portion
7-123 to be hooked by vertically suspended lever 7-2. As the lever 7-2 continues to descend, the
plurality of slide blocks 2-1 (towing an entire covering curtain 3) pass through the curved portion
1-2 and enter a straight portion 1-1 under a thrust exerted by the lever 7-2 toward the receiving
portion 7-123. During a process of the slide block 2-1 entering the straight portion 2-1 from the
curved portion 2-2, the lever 7-12 gradually rises and acts in the brought together direction, so that
the lever 7-2 gradually slides from the receiving portion 7-123 to the push-couple portion 7-121,
and in turn applies thrust to the push-couple portion 7-121 until the slide block 2-1 enters the
straight portion 1-1. Then the wagon body 8 continues to act on the tracks, so that the lever 7-2 moves relative to the push-couple portion 7-121 to push the push-couple portion 7-121. The push-couple portion 7-121 drives the slide block 2-1 to act on the straight portion 1-1 through the hooking rod 7-11. The slide block 2-1 drives the covering curtain 3 to be brought together. When the covering curtain 3 is brought together, the lever 7-2 rises to separate from the push-couple portion 7-121 to avoid interfering with an action of the wagon body 8. When the covering curtains
3 are to be folded, the wagon body 8 acts on the tracks until it reaches the lever 7-2, to the lever 7-2
to abut against the push-away portion 7-122. Then, the wagon body 8 continues to act on the
tracks, to move the lever 7-2 relative to the push-couple portion 7-121 so as to push the
push-couple portion 7-122. In turn the push-couple portion 7-122 drives the slide block 2-1 to act
on the straight portion 1-1 through the hooking rod 7-11 until the slide block 2-1 enters the curved
portion 1-2, and then the lever 7-2 separates from the push-couple portion 7-121, thereby realizing
a folding of the covering curtains 3.
[00541 Referring to FIG. 6, FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, based on the same concept, the disclosure also
proposes an open wagon in which the guide device for the covering curtain is adopted. For the
structural details of the guide device for the covering curtain, a reference can be made to the
above-mentioned embodiments. The guide device for the covering curtain, since adopting all the
technical solutions of all the above-mentioned embodiments, has at least all the advantageous
effects brought by the technical solutions of the above-mentioned embodiments, which will not be
described again here.
[00551 In some embodiments, the open wagon includes a wagon body 8 and two covering curtains
3 disposed opposite to each other on a top of the wagon body 8. Two slide rails 1 of the guide
device are disposed oppositely on the top of the wagon body 8. Two sliding seat mechanisms 2 of
the guide device are respectively disposed at docking ends of the two covering curtains 3. In some
embodiments, the two sliding seat mechanisms 2 are slidably disposed on the two slide rails 1
respectively to drive the two covering curtains 3 to be docked or folded.
[00561 In some embodiments, when the two covering curtains 3 are being brought together, that is,
the two covering curtains 3 need to act toward each other, the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 of the
sliding seat mechanism 2 enter the straight portion 1-1 from the curved portion 1-2 of the slide rail
1, until ends of the two covering curtains 3 are docked together. When the two covering curtains 3
are being folded, the plurality of slide blocks 2-1 of the sliding seat mechanism 2 enter the curved
portion 1-2 from the straight portion 1-1 of the slide rail 1, thereby realizing the folding of the covering curtains 3. The covering curtains 3 completely leaves an end of a top of the wagon body, thus it can ensure that the covering curtains 3 when folded completely exit the end of the top of the wagon body, thereby avoiding damage to the covering curtains 3 when loading and unloading cargoes, ensuring a safety of the covering curtains 3, and facilitating the loading and unloading of cargoes.
[0057] In some embodiments, an end of the covering curtain 3 facing the sliding seat mechanism 2
is disposed with a flap 6 which is flippable. In this embodiment, the flap 6 can be hingedly
connected to the covering curtain 3. In some embodiments, the flap 6 can cover positions where
the covering curtain 3 cannot cover, and therefore the top of the wagon body can be completely
covered.
[00581 In some embodiments, an angle at which the flap 6 is flipped toward the folding direction is
less than 90 degrees with a horizontal plane as a reference. When the covering curtains 3 are being
folded, the flap 6 forms an elevation angle relative to the horizontal plane after the flap 6 enters the
curved portion 1-2 with the last slide block 2-1, and the flap 6 still has an inertia when the last slide
block 2-1 slides away from the straight portion 1-1 and tends to decelerate and stop, so that the flap
6 can automatically flip under an action of the elevation angle and the inertia. When the covering
curtains 3 are being brought together, the flap 6 forms a depression angle relative to the horizontal
plane after the flap 6 enters the straight portion 1-1 with the last slide block 2-1, and thus the flap 6,
under an action of gravity thereof, will flip to cover positions that can not be covered by the
covering curtain 3, so that the top of the wagon body is completely covered.
[00591 In some embodiments, since the toggle column 7-12 should rest in a position where it is
easy for the lever 7-2 to hook a last slide block in the plurality of sliders 2-1 which still does not
completely slide away from the top of the wagon body when the last slide block stops moving, the
last slide block 2-1 which is still at the top of the wagon body will prevent loading apparatuses
from operating. It will be easier for the loading apparatuses to operate by disposing a flap 6
hingedly connected to the covering curtain 3 at an end of a first slide block 2-1 and flipping the flap
6 in the direction of folding upon the covering curtain 3 is folded.
