Abstract

An adjustable low pulley according to an embodiment of the present invention, which allows a user to work out by pulling weights with the arms while the user is seated thereon, comprises: a support frame which is erected while being supported on the floor; a seat portion which is connected to the front portion of the support frame so as to provide a space where the user can be seated; a weight portion which is connected to the support frame and includes a plurality of block weights; and an external force transfer unit which is connected to the weight portion and transfers the external force so that the weight portion can be moved up/down by the external force applied by the user, while being gripped by the user seated on the seat portion.

Adjustable Low Pulley
Technical Field The present invention relates to an adjustable low pulley, and more specifically, to exercise equipment capable of allowing users to exercise by pulling weights with their arms while seated.
Background Art In recent years, as social interest in beauty and health has increased, the number of fitness enthusiasts practicing weight training to improve muscle strength and create a balanced body has also been increasing. Weight training is an exercise aimed at strengthening muscles using heavily weighted objects, such as barbells or dumbbells, and gaining improved physical fitness.
There are several exercises that are used in weight training, such as bench presses, squats, and deadlifts, and many gyms are equipped with diverse fitness equipment to perform them.
As the public has continued to show an increased interest in health-related topics over the years, the media has now made it very easy to learn how to do these exercises.
However, as most exercise equipment is costly, a majority of people pay fees to use such equipment at the gym, but in some cases, have to wait to use the desired equipment when there are a lot of people at certain times of the day or on public holidays.
Therefore, there is an increasing need for exercise equipment that does not take up a lot of space, thereby allowing a large group of people to perform various workout exercises.
In particular, there is a high demand for exercise equipment that provides deep stimulation to various parts of the body such as the back and allows for one- or two-armed movements.
Summary of Invention
Technical Problem The present invention has the objective of providing exercise equipment that allows users to perform back exercises by pulling weights with their arms while seated.
Solution to Problem An adjustable low pulley according to one embodiment of the present invention is an equipment that allows a user to perform exercises by pulling a weight with their arms while seated, has a support frame in an upright position while being supported on the floor, a seating unit connected to a front of the support frame and providing a space for the user to sit, a weight unit comprising a plurality of block weights and connected to the support frame, the weight portion being gripped by the user seated on a seat, an external force transmission unit for transmitting an external force to allow the weight unit to move up and down, the external force transmission unit comprising an external force body unit connected to the support frame with an external force application unit providing a space for the user to grip, a cable mediating the external force application unit and weight unit, and a pulley unit for causing the direction of the force applied to the external force application unit to switch to a vertical direction while defining a movement path of the cable.
A support frame of an adjustable low pulley according to one embodiment of the present invention is formed by a floor support unit resting on a floor, an external force support unit raised and formed from the floor support unit and providing a space in which an external force transmission unit is mounted, and a standing support unit raised and formed from the floor support unit and providing a space in which a weight unit is mounted, wherein an external force body unit is mounted on the external force support unit, and the external force body unit has a primary grip unit connected to one end of a cable and a secondary grip unit connected to the other end of the cable, and wherein a pulley unit allows an external force applied by a user to be transmitted to the weight unit by mediating the external force application unit and the weight unit.
A pulley unit of an adjustable low pulley according to one embodiment of the present invention is connected to a primary main pulley piece connected to an external force body unit, a secondary main pulley piece connected to the external force body unit and disposed adjacent to the primary main pulley piece, a primary upper pulley piece connected to an upper part of a standing support unit, a weight pulley piece connected to a weight unit, a secondary upper pulley piece connected to the upper part of the standing support unit, but disposed on an upper side of the weight pulley piece and a lower pulley piece connected to a floor support unit, wherein a cable connected to a primary grip unit is connected to a secondary grip unit through the primary main pulley piece, the primary upper pulley piece, the weight pulley piece, the secondary upper pulley piece, the lower pulley piece, and the secondary main pulley piece sequentially, and wherein the weight unit may be raised by a user in proportion to a moving distance of the primary grip unit from the primary main pulley piece or a moving distance of the secondary grip unit from the secondary main pulley piece.
A weight unit of an adjustable low pulley according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a plurality of block weights connected to a standing support unit, a through-hole formed in the block weights, a lower end connected to a floor support unit, an upper end connected to an upper end of the standing support unit, a guide unit for guiding a lift path of the block weights, a lower end inserted into the lower end of any one of the plurality of weight blocks, a weight adjustment unit for causing block weights stacked on the upper end of the inserted block weights to move as a unit, and a seat comprising a connection unit formed in the shape of an "L" while being connected to the floor support unit, wherein a seating unit connected to an upper end of the connection unit provides a seat for a user to be seated.
A support frame of an adjustable low pulley according to one embodiment of the present invention is further equipped with a stool support unit disposed between an external force support unit and a seat, the stool support unit being connected to a footrest unit that provides a seating unit for a user on a seat to place their feet, the stool support unit further comprising a primary stool support unit and a secondary stool support unit spaced apart from each other, and the footrest unit further being equipped with a primary stool unit mounted on the primary stool support unit and a secondary stool unit mounted on the secondary stool support unit, the primary stool unit mounted on the primary stool support piece unit providing a first facing surface toward the seat, and a hanging unit bent from a lower end of the base to support the user's feet supported on the first facing surface.
Beneficial Effects According to the present invention, an adjustment low pulley is configured to allow a direction of force to be changed smoothly between a cable pulled by a user and a weight, so that the transmission of force by the cable is effectively implemented, and by minimizing the friction between the cable and member, the lifting of the weight by the cable is stably realized.
In addition, it is possible for the user to pull a weight with both arms simultaneously or alternately with one arm so that exercises can be performed in a variety of ways.
Further, by enabling the up-and-down adjustment of the pulley, the effect of diversity of the pulling angle is increased.

FIGS. 1 and 2 are schematic diagrams illustrating an adjustable low pulley according to one embodiment of the present invention and FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram illustrating a support frame of an adjustable low pulley according to one embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIGS. I to 3, an adjustable low pulley (1, hereinafter referred to as a low pulley) according to one embodiment of the present invention is an equipment that can be used to perform exercises by pulling a weight with one arm or both while seated.
The low pulley (1) of the present invention activates a user's trapezius and latissimus dorsi muscles and the erector spinae muscles by pulling a cable (45) connected to a weight, thereby enabling exercises that are conducive to the functional development of the entire body.
The low pulley (1) of the present invention may include a support frame (10), a seat (20), a weight unit (30), and an external force transmission unit (40).
The support frame (10) may be upright, supported on a floor, and may comprise a floor support unit (11), an external force support unit (13), and a standing support unit (15).
The floor support unit (11) may rest on the floor and have a plurality of connection units formed as angular or circular tubes so that components connected to an upper part can be stably supported on the floor. A plurality of floor mounting units (111) may be formed on a lower part of the floor support unit (11) to prevent slipping by increasing frictional force with the floor.
The standing support unit (15) may be formed upright from the floor support unit (11) and may provide a space where a weight unit (30) is mounted. The standing support unit (15) may comprise a primary standing piece (151) and a secondary standing piece (152) spaced apart from each other, and a standing connection unit (153) connecting the upper ends of the primary standing piece and the second standing piece.
The external force support unit (13) formed upright from the floor support unit (11) may provide a space in which an external force transmission unit (40) is mounted and may be disposed perpendicular to the floor while being connected to the standing connection unit (153).
In addition, the external force support unit (13) is disposed between the standing support unit (15) and the seat (20), and a seated user on the seat (20) may apply an external force to the external force transmission unit (40) on the external force support unit (13).
The seat (20) may be connected to the front of the support frame (10) to provide a space for the user to be seated.
Specifically, the seat (20) may comprise a connection unit (21) formed in the shape of an "L",connected to the floor support unit (11), and a seating unit (23) connected to an upper end of the connection unit (21) to provide a space for the user to sit.
The weight unit (30) connected to the support frame (10), may comprise a plurality of block weights (31).
The external force transmission unit (40) is connected to the weight unit (30) and is capable of transmitting an external force such that the weight unit (30) moves up and down by the applied external force while being gripped by the user on the seat (20). Specifically, the external force transmission unit (40) may comprise an external force body unit (41) connected to the support frame (10), a main external force application unit (43) providing a space for the user to grip, a cable (45) mediating between the external force application unit (43) and the weight unit (30), and a pulley unit for switching the direction of the force applied to the external force application unit (43), while defining a movement path for the cable (45).
A more detailed description of the external force transmission unit (40) will be provided with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4 below.
FIGS. 4 and 5 are schematic diagrams illustrating an external force transmission unit of an adjustable low pulley according to one embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, the external force body unit (41) of the present invention may be mounted on an external force support unit (13) to enable its up-and-down movement.
Specifically, the external force support unit (13) may have a plurality of mounting holes (131) formed along a height direction, and the external force body unit (41) may be mounted to any one ofthe plurality of mounting holes (131) by a separate fastening member. Here, it may be slidable or fixed in the height direction depending on whether it is fastened by the separate fastening member.
In addition, the external force support unit (13) may be labeled with a series of numbers at positions corresponding to the plurality of mounting holes (131) so that a user can easily distinguish them.
The user may vary the height of the external force body unit (41) with respect to the external force support unit (13) according to the weight of the user to maximize the exercise effect.
The external force application unit (43) may comprise a primary grip unit (431) connected to one end of the cable (45) and a secondary grip unit (432) connected to the other end of the cable (45).
The cable (45) may mediate between the external force application unit (43) and the weight unit (30) such that the external force applied by the user is transmitted to the weight unit (30).
Specifically, one end of the cable (45) may be connected to the primary grip unit (431) and the other end may be connected to the secondary grip unit (432). In this case, the cable (45) allows the weight unit (30) to be lifted by the external force exerted by the primary grip unit (431) and the secondary grip unit (432) through the weight unit (30), enabling the user to perform the action of lifting or lowering the weight portion (30) using the external force application unit (43).
The pulley member may change the direction of the force applied to the main external force application unit (43) in a vertical direction while defining the movement path of the cable (45).
Specifically, the pulley unit may comprise a primary main pulley piece (471), a secondary main pulley piece (472), a primary upper pulley piece (473), a weight pulley piece (474), a secondary upper pulley piece (477), and a lower pulley piece (475). The primary main pulley piece (471) is connected to the external force body unit (41) and may provide a space for winding the cable (45). One end of the cable (45) wound around the primary main pulley piece (471) may be connected to the primary grip unit (431).
The secondary main pulley piece (472) is connected to the external force body unit (41), may be disposed adjacent to the primary main pulley piece (471), and may provide a space for winding the cable (45). The other end of the cable (45) wound around the secondary main pulley (472) may be connected to the secondary grip unit (432).
The primary upper pulley piece (473) may be connected to an upper end of the standing support unit (15). Specifically, the primary upper pulley piece (473) may consist of a 1-1 upper pulley piece (473a) and a 1-2 upper pulley piece (473b) connected along the standing connection unit (153).
The primary upper pulley piece (473) may define the movement path of the cable (45) to the upper side of the weight unit (30) from the external force body unit (41).
The weight pulley piece (474) may be connected to the weight unit (30).
The secondary pulley piece (477) may be connected to the upper end of the standing support unit (15) and placed on the upper side of the weight pulley piece (474).
The cable (45) spanning the primary upper pulley piece (473) may be coupled to the secondary upper pulley piece (477) while passing through the weight pulley piece (474). Here, the tension of the cable (45) spanning the primary upper pulley piece (473) and the secondary upper pulley piece (477) causes the weight unit (30) to move up and down.
The lower pulley piece (475) may be connected to the floor support unit (11) and comprise a primary lower pulley piece (475a) and a secondary lower pulley piece (475b) spaced apart from each other. In summary, the cable (45) connected to the primary grip unit (431) may be connected to the secondary grip unit (432) by sequentially passing through the primary main pulley piece (471), the primary upper pulley piece (473), the weight pulley piece (474), the secondary upper pulley piece (477), the lower pulley piece (475), and the secondary main pulley piece (472).
The weight unit (30) may rise in proportion to a moving distance of the primary grip unit (431) from the primary main pulley piece (471) or a moving distance of the secondary grip unit (432) from the secondary main pulley piece (472) by the user.
FIG. 6 is a schematic diagram to illustrate a weight unit and a stool support unit of an adjustable low pulley according to one embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 6, a weight unit (30) according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise a plurality of block weights (31), a guide unit (33), and a weight adjustment unit (35).
The plurality of block weights (31) may be connected to a standing support unit (15) to allow for up and-down movement. Specifically, the standing support unit (15) may be inserted into a through-hole in the center of the plurality of block weights (31) so that they can move up and down along the standing support unit (15) while being dependent on the standing support unit (15).
The guide unit (33), with a through-hole in a block weight (31), may be connected at a lower end to the floor support unit (11) and at an upper end to an upper end of the standing support unit (15) to guide the movement path of the block weight (31).
The block weight (31) may be provided with a through-hole formed in a mirror image with respect to the center, and the guide unit (33) may be disposed through the through-hole in a bar shape on both sides based on the center of the block weight (31). Therefore, the block weight (31) may move up or down without being rotated during lifting.
The weight adjustment unit (35) may be inserted into a lower end of any one of the plurality of block weights (31) to cause the block weights (31) stacked on the upper side of the inserted block weights (31) to move as a unit.
A support frame (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention may further comprise a stool support unit (17) placed between an external force support unit (13) and a seat(20).
The stool support unit (17) may comprise a primary stool support unit (171) and a secondary stool support unit (172) that are spaced apart from each other.
The low pulley (1) of the present invention may further comprise a footrest unit (50).
The footrest unit (50) may be connected to the stool support unit (17) and provide a space where a user seated in a seating unit (23) can place their feet.
A plurality of mounting holes (173) created along a height direction may be formed in the stool support unit (17), and the footrest unit (50) may be mounted in any one of the plurality of mounting holes (173) by a separate fastening member. Here, the footrest unit (50) may be slideable or fixed in the height direction depending on whether it is fastened by a separate fastening member.
In addition, the footrest unit (50) may be labeled with a series of numbers at locations corresponding to the plurality of mounting holes (173) to allow the user to easily differentiate them.
The user may vary the height of the footrest unit (50) with respect to the stool support unit (17) depending on the weight of the user to ensure exercises can be performed comfortably.
The footrest unit (50) may comprise a primary stool unit (51) mounted on the primary stool support unit (171) and a secondary stool unit (52) mounted on the secondary stool support unit (172).
The primary stool unit (51) may comprise a mounting unit (511) mounted on the primary stool support unit (171), but providing a first opposing surface toward the seating space (23), and a hanging unit (513) bent from a lower end of the mounting unit (511) to support a foot of the user supported on the opposite side. The user may exercise while allowing a sole of a foot to rest on the mounting unit (511) and stably place the foot by allowing the heel to rest on the hanging unit (513).
FIGS. 7 and 8 are schematic diagrams to illustrate an adjustable low pulley according to another embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, an adjustable low pulley (2) according to another embodiment of the present invention may further include a display unit (60), a rear cover unit (70), and a reinforcement support unit (80) in addition to the adjustable low pulley (1) described with reference to FIGS. I to 6.
The display unit (60) is installed on a front side of a support frame (10a) and installed to output an image specifically set by a user as a result of receiving an external communication signal. The display unit (60) is considered as an image output device that a user can watch while exercising using the exercise equipment presented in the present invention.
The rear cover unit (70) is installed on a rear side of the support frame (10a) to protect a weight unit (30) and to act as a shield to protect the privacy of the user seated in the seat(20) while exercising.
The reinforcement support unit (80) may support a limited positional movement of an external force body unit (141) connected to an external force support unit (13a) with respect to the external force support unit (13a).
Here, the user can move or fix the position of the external force body (141) along the height direction of the external force support unit (13a).
In this case, an external force may be applied consistently if the user exercises while the external force body unit (141) is fixed to the external force support unit (13a). The reinforcement support unit (80) may limit the positional movement of the external force body unit (141) with respect to the external force support unit (13a) according to the continuous application of external force to the external force body unit (141), thereby allowing the user to exercise in a more stable environment.
FIG. 9 is a schematic diagram to describe an adjustable low pulley according to another embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 9, an adjustable low pulley (3) according to another embodiment of the present invention further comprises a protective cover unit (91) and an accessory mounting unit (93) in addition to the adjustable low pulley (2) described with reference to FIGS. 7 and 8, and also includes technical features concerning a footrest unit (50).
The protective cover unit (91) covers up the exteriors of an external force support unit (13, see FIG. 3), a reinforcement support unit (80, see FIG. 7), and a cable (45, see FIG. 4), thereby protecting these components from an unexpected external force applied from the outside. The accessory mounting unit (93) is installed on an exterior of a secondary stool support unit (172') to provide a space for hanging accessories and the like. Specifically, the accessory mounting unit (93) may comprise a fixed mounting unit (931) installed on the secondary stool support unit (172') and a hook unit (933) connected to the fixed mounting unit (931) in a loop form.
On the other hand, the footrest unit (50') may be mounted on the stool support unit (17'), but formed in a different size than the footrest unit previously described (50, see FIG. 1) to allow it to be mounted on the stool support unit (17).
The footrest unit (50') is merely one embodiment, and thus, different shapes and sizes may be applied.
While the above describes the composition and features of the present invention based on embodiments of the present invention, the invention is not limited thereto, and it will be apparent to those skilled in the relevant field of technology to which the present invention belongs that various changes or modifications can be made within the spirit and scope of the present invention, and such changes or modifications fall within the scope of the appended patent claims.

Claims (5)

Claims
1. An adjustable low pulley being exercise equipment allowing a user to exercise by pulling a weight with one or two arms while seated, comprising: a standing support unit that is upright supported on a floor; a seat connected to a front of the support frame to provide a seating unit; a weight unit connected to the support frame and consisting of a plurality of block weights; and an external force transmission unit connected to the weight unit and transmitting an external force to move the weight unit up and down by the applied external force while being gripped by the user seated in the seating unit; wherein the external force transmission unit comprises an external force body unit connected to the support frame, an external force application unit providing a space for a user to grip, a cable mediating the external force application unit and the weight unit, and a pulley member defining a movement path of the cable thereby switching a direction applied by the external force application unit in a vertical direction.

The support frame according to Claim 1 further comprises, a floor support unit resting on the floor, an external force support unit raised and formed from the floor support unit and providing a space where the external force transmission unit is mounted, and a standing support unit raised and formed from the floor support unit and providing a space where the weight unit is mounted, wherein the external force body unit is mounted on the external force support unit in a liftable manner, wherein the external force application unit has a primary grip unit connected to one end of the cable and a secondary grip unit connected to the other end of the cable, and the pulley unit intermediates between the external force application unit and the weight unit to transmit the external force applied by the user to the weight unit.

The pulley unit according to Claim 2 further comprises, a primary main pulley piece connected to the external force body unit, a secondary main pulley piece connected to the external force body unit and disposed adjacent to the primary main pulley piece, a primary upper pulley piece connected to an upper end of the standing support unit, a weight pulley piece connected to the weight unit, a secondary upper pulley piece connected to the upper end of the standing support unit, but disposed on the upper end of the weight pulley piece, and a lower pulley piece connected to the floor support unit, wherein the cable connected to the primary grip unit is connected to the secondary grip unit portion by sequentially passing through the primary main pulley piece, the primary upper pulley piece, the weight pulley piece, the secondary upper pulley piece, the lower pulley piece, and the secondary main pulley piece, and the weight unit increases in proportion to a moving distance of the primary grip unit from the primary main pulley piece or a moving distance of the secondary grip unit from the secondary main pulley piece by the user.

The weight unit according to Claim 3 further comprises, a plurality of block weights connected to the standing support unit that allows for up-and-down movement, a guide unit for guiding the movement of the block weights through a through-hole formed in the block weights, the lower end being connected to the floor support unit, and the upper end being connected to the upper end of the standing support unit, a weight adjustment unit inserted into a lower end of any one of the plurality of block weights to cause the block weights stacked on the upper end of the inserted block weights to move as a unit, wherein the seat comprises a connection unit formed in a shape of an "L" shape while being connected to the floor support unit, and the seating unit is connected to an upper end of the connection unit to provide the seat.

The support frame according to Claim 4 further comprises, a footrest unit disposed between the external force support unit and the seat while being connected to stool support unit, the footrest unit providing a space for the user in the seating unit on the seating portion to place their feet, and the stool support unit further comprising, a primary stool support unit and a secondary stool support unit spaced apart from each other, wherein the footrest unit has a primary unit mounted on the primary stool support unit and a secondary stool unit mounted on the secondary stool support unit, wherein the primary stool unit is mounted on the primary stool support unit and provides a first facing surface towards the seating unit and a hanging unit bent from a lower end to support a foot of the user supported on the first facing surface.
